School Foundation Partnerships

We love giving back to help kids through our Vacations = Donations program. With every vacation purchased, a portion is donated to local schools.

Get Away Today owners Chuck and Julie Smith, love being able to make a difference in their community and in the lives of children. This is why we partner with school districts and their foundations to help raise money for students who need it the most. When our guests book a vacation through Get Away Today and mention their school district, we will donate a portion of that package price back to the school’s foundation through our Vacations = Donation program.

We also help our school district foundation partners raise much needed funds in other ways including cash and vacation sponsorships for golf tournaments, fun runs, galas and other charitable events.

Not only does Get Away Today love helping schools through donations, Chuck Smith, owner of Get Away Today, has written several children’s books that he loves to share. He enjoys visiting local elementary schools to read to the children and always donates a copy of his book to each child along with one for the school library.

Get Away Today has raised over $4 million for kids so far, and we are excited to watch that number grow. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to help where it is needed most and are committed to continue supporting the education of children in the community.
