We love Disneyland history and looking back at memories over the years. This article is no longer being updated, but is a great way to look back and see what was happening at Disneyland when this was originally published.

Frozen Live at the Hyperion is now OPEN! Be ready to on on the 'coolest' journey with the royal sisters of Arendelle. This show was truly made for the Disneyland Resort and the guests that travel to this beautiful place. The magic, wonder and awe we all feel at the Happiest Place on Earth shines through in Frozen Live at the Hyperion. It is the perfect example of what Disney strives to be and completely breaks the boundaries on what you would expect from a stage show. Frozen Live at the Hyperion is a complete spectacular from top to bottom. From the huge set pieces to every minor detail, it was all treated with such respect towards the original movie. In the Broadway style show, you can experience Frozen like never before. Seeing and experiencing all of the singing, dancing and emotions live adds a whole new element and dimension to an already beloved show. Frozen Live at the Hyperion transports you into the world of Arendelle and you become completely immersed in the story as if you are actually there. We can not understate the incredible and immaculate use of technology that catapults the show to a whole new level. It is truly something that you need to see to believe.

To help you with this new and exciting Frozen experience, here are the most frequently asked questions and our answers all about the show:

Where is Frozen Live at the Hyperion located?

You can enjoy this magical and thrilling experience at the Hyperion theatre located inside Disney California Adventure Park. The theatre is located near the end of Hollywood Land right in front of the backdrop nestled between Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. If you are looking at the "front" of the Hyperion, you enter the theater just to the right beyond the windows.

How long is the show?

The goal is for Frozen Live to be around 45 minutes. Since it is still so early and brand new, the show time has been running about an hour or so. They are going to try and cut that down, but in the beginning stages expect the show to around 50 minutes to an hour. (But it goes by so fast!)

Does it follow along with the Frozen movie?

Frozen Live at the Hyperion follows perfectly along the movie. You can expect to see the story the world fell in love with, just more condensed. It has all of your favorite characters with plenty of Easter eggs and call backs to the original movie. And don't worry, you can enjoy almost all of the amazing hit songs that made the movie what it is today. Frozen Live has a knack for adding a whole new look and feel while staying true to the source material. Jam out to 'Love is an Open Door,' melt over 'In Summer' and of course, belt out to the anthem that is 'Let It Go' along with so much more!

Do they have a FASTPASS for the show?

You can get a FASTPASS for the Frozen Live show and we HIGHLY recommend them. The theatre holds almost 2,000 people per show, and each show will allow only approximately 300 stand-by guests. You will want to get your FASTPASS first thing in the morning. While we were there on opening day, the FASTPASS tickets for Frozen Live sold out by 10 a.m.. You can expect that to be later in the day as time goes on, but it doesn't count as one of your FASTPASS tickets, so you might as well make that your first stop in the morning. You can find the FASTPASS distribution area just to the left of the theater, near Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue!

How many showing of Frozen Live at the Hyperion per day?

You can expect to see four showings of Frozen Live every day at Disneyland, usually spread out about three or four hours apart. But, as always, it is totally dependent on the day and time of year you are traveling. Some days you might find three shows, other days you can have up to five or six shows if you're visiting during peak season. You can always check ahead of time on disneyland.com to find a list of show times on the days you will be traveling around 30-45 days in advance. Once you arrive at the park, you can also find show times posted at the info desk on Buena Vista Street and at the Hyperion on both the marquee and on posted signs.

All and all, expect to have a 'first time in forever' experience - Frozen Live at Hyperion is unlike anything you have ever seen before. With the help of technology, creativity, talent and a whole lot of that Disney magic, Frozen Live at the Hyperion brings everything we know and love about both Frozen the movie and the Disneyland Resort together into a winter wonderland spectacular. This amazing and awe-inspiring show has completely earned its spot at the theatre. You need to get to the Happiest Place on Earth and experience and enjoy Frozen Live in person.
