The Imagination! pavilion at Epcot® can be found inside Future World to the west of the Innoventions pavilion. Your family will be able to cool off and rest their feet here, all while learning about imagination itself.

First, revel in the magic of animation at the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival in the Magic Eye Theater. You’ll be welcomed by John Lasseter, chief creative officer of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios, before donning your 3D glasses. Enjoy three short films like never before, with 4D effects that will leave you dazzled.

Then head to Journey into Imagination with Figment, where the Institute’s chairman wants to show how the five senses are truly the base for imagination. Don’t be surprised when the playful purple dragon appears to make the tour his own! It’s a topsy-turvy ride that will have your little ones laughing the whole way.

After the ride, take some time to explore the interactive play area; ImageWorks – The “What If” Labs. The whole family can run wild here, creating music, slow motion recordings and your own version of Figment. Don’t forget to stop by the gift shop for some great imagination and Figment themed souvenirs, too.

The Imagination! pavilion at Epcot® is great for families looking for educational fun. Getting to rest your feet while your little ones create masterpieces is a great bonus! As Epcot’s renovation for Disney World’s 50th anniversary begins, it’s likely the Imagination! pavilion at Epcot® will undergo changes. This page will be updated with any and all refurbishments taking place once confirmed. Epcot® is sure to get better and better with the renovation, Imagination! included.
