Will definitely be back!
The Legoland Castle Hotel was nothing short of amazing. The staff went over the top for everything to make sure we had the perfect stay. My family and I will definitely be back!
Great staff
Don't be afraid to ask management when your having any issue that you feel is not being resolved by a Model Citizen. They will bend over backwards for you.
Love this Hotel
My 7 year old daughter loved the hotel and love that she had a separate little room with a bunk bed. The nightly treasures were nice too. In the Legoland Castle hotel there's only one restaurant and not really a cafe or anything if you get hungry later on. There's a neat outside area with a pool and some activities for the kids. We especially loved hat the entrance was literally steps away from the Legoland Park. Keep in mind they are pretty strict about a 4:00 p.m. check-in.
Kinda disappointed
There was some disappointment. Our room was right by the stairs, restaurant and gift shop. WAY too noisy not a great place for toddlers. My 2 grandkids had the hardest time sleeping. On Sunday we were told the park opened at 9:30 so we had to wait to get in when in fact it opened at 9am. The person at the gate said sometimes 9 sometimes 930. If this park is for kids then it needs to open much earlier. My grandkids were ready for a nap by 12 but then it closes early. They said this is for the little ones for their hours. The kids had a good time just tired. They were offering 25% off the 2nd night but I couldn't get that because I already booked it.
Game changer for our Legoland trip
Fantastic customer service in all areas. Food variety and quality was on point. Enjoyed every aspect of our stay. It was a game changer for the ease of our trip to Legoland.
Everything was amazing from the moment we pulled in!
Everything was amazing from the moment we pulled in. The valet guys were so kind and helpful. The young lady that checked us in was very nice and answered all of our silly questions. The room was so fun and perfect for our family. I loved that everything was so close and catered to the kids. Would be nice to have more then 1 option for food dining, but it was ok for our short stay. We walked over to the other hotel but still ended up door dashing a couple of meals. The early entrance for hotel guests was cool and the park itself was soooo fun. We will definitely be back soon. And bring more family with us. :)
Kids loved it
Beautiful room the kids loved it and everything is very clean .
Good stay overall
Overall it was a wonderful stay, but there were a few customer service hiccups our first night. They pad locked a crucial access gate early so we couldn't get back on property without walking over a mile around, the ONLY number listed online set us to a fax machine so we couldn't contact them, and then 2 employees were extremely rude when we wanted answers about why the gate was locked early so that other families wouldn't go through the same frustration. They tried to blame us and offered no apology, with nothing but their poor customer service to stand on. The manager knew it was not our fault though as we had time stamps on our phones from trying to call well before the posted closing time. HOWEVER, the rest of the 4 night stay was great and the management rectified the situation fully and professionally! Awesome breakfast buffet, clean/fun rooms, great pool area with zero entry for little ones, and is overall designed with families in mind. We have stayed at the Legoland Hotel as well and feel it to be comparable. We actually appreciated the design of the Castle better with the dining, gift shop, and pool entrance on a separate floor than the lobby. It was noticeably less congested than the Legoland Hotel lobby. Kids had a blast and we would recommend a stay there to others!
Fun hotel!
The room was perfect! Just like the pictures. The hotel was very nice, the common areas were great. Service was great. Entertainment was good. Location to the theme park can't be beat. The food was overpriced, but good. No room service, which was disappointing. My son was disappointed that the nightly scavenger hunt was only fun the first time, the second time the answer code was the same (which he figured out without doing the actual scavenger hunt) and the prize was exactly the same. Also, while we're not there to watch tv, we did watch during down time, and could've used more channels, it was pretty limited.
Just look out for "off-season" schedule changes
In the off season, the Legoland Hotel is not open Mon-Thursday, only the castle. This can be hard to move locations if you are in the Hotel and need to move to the Castle. Also, some of the restaurants, and attractions (pool) close early or are not open.
Fun decor, and great food
WONDERFUL! Great for kids and adults alike. Decorated so fun inside. Food was excellent and free breakfast buffet was amazing! Will definitely stay there again!
Perfect summer vacation
We spent 2 days at Legoland and wanted to be really close. We are so glad we stayed here. We went to the water park in the morning before it got too busy and then came back to the hotel to change our clothes and then went to Legoland. It was great. The kids really liked our room and played with the Legos in their part of the room every night. Also - be sure to get the apple fries up by the dragon roller coaster. They were everyone's favorite.
So much fun!
We stayed in the wizard room because my kids have been super into Harry Potter and they loved it! It will probably be our back-to-school tradition as long as my kids still think it's fun! We loved the pool and the breakfast. The kids loved having their "own" room and watched a movie from the top bunk every night. It was a blast!
Amazing new hotel
We got to stay at the LEGOLAND Castle Hotel and loved it. We knew it was new and would be great, but we were even more impressed than we thought we would be. My kids loved playing in the playground and the pool. We actually had to pull them away from the hotel to go to LEGOLAND for Brick-or-Treat one night. Ha! The breakfast was incredible. Staying at the castle hotel may be our new tradition.
Awesome Experience
We were a little hesitant to stay at the new Castle Hotel because we always stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel and have loved it. We were not disappointed. It felt like there were more play areas for kids. The breakfast was just as great as at the LEGOLAND Hotel. We also really enjoyed the themed room. Plus, the kids thought it was awesome to stay in a castle. Overall, we would stay here again.
Overall Nice
The maid service was inconsistent, had to text them to get service most days. Very noisy also, can hear everything going n in the next room.beds were comfy and room amenities were nice though
