One of the best!
The past 11 years we have stayed at this hotel and we absolutely love it. The staff is so friendly and helpful… the rooms are nice and clean. I just wish in the suites there was 2 bathrooms (as a family of 6) we need it :) but other than that so easy and friendly. Close to the park the walk is 5ish min. One of the bests hands down
Clean and friendly hotel
Close to Disney, clean, friendly staff, great view and hot tub and pool for relaxing
A great stay!
The family suite worked great for 6 people, 3 adults and 3 kids. The rooms were large with lots of storage. Hot tub was small but efficient after a long day. Pool was okay, kids liked it. Staff were great when we had the need for new bedding in the middle of the night. Great stay, would stay again.
Perfect for our family
Loved the proximity to the park, the Family suite is perfect for my family.
Great room and location
Great space, clean rooms, easy walk to the park.
Nice room!
Nice staff and nice room we will be staying here again.
Great space and distance to the parks
Plenty of space for our family of four. Lots of storage space. Air works great, staff is awesome. Last but now least, it’s a 5 minute walk to and from the parks. Not to mention the food options within walking distance for hungry children after walking all day.
Great hotel
It is a great hotel,
Great service
No breakfast, but McDonald’s next door. Could use some updating. Guest services were great when needed.
Room was good, but loud AC
Room was good staff was ok our ac was really loud we talked to them about it they sent people to fix it that day it was better until about 1 am then it got louder then before they didn’t seem to interested in doing anything about it not even reducing the parking fee
Might try somewhere new
We are always happy with Camelot Inn and Suites but we didn't get the floor we asked for and they put us all the way towards the back. Might try a new place next time. We booked months in advance.
Loved this hotel!
I really loved Camelot. It was pretty close to Disneyland. The staff was great. We had an awesome room with a balcony that faced the park! It was awesome. I liked the beds and pillows. Our room was also a bit bigger than when we stayed at some of the other hotels in that area.
great place to stay!
Room and location were great. Service was great. Just needed some more comfortable mattresses. But overall a great place to stay. Would definitely stay there again.
So close to the parks
Proximity is king here. So close to the park and restaurants. Overall the room was pretty clean (not perfect) and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Spacious and close to the parks
2-room Suite was spacious, comfortable, clean, SUPER CLOSE ACCESS to the park, housekeeping was wonderful in providing us clean towels every day which was awesome because it rained the two days we were there, and coming home to a hot shower with new towels was a major plus. Far exceeded expectations, but to be honest, didn't have super high expectations to begin with. Pleasantly surprised.
Great Location!
The best part of this hotel was definitely the location to the parks. It’s incredibly close and made for walking to the parks and back for midday breaks easy. The front desk staff was a bit condescending and rude when we asked about our room request for a fireworks view that was not accommodated, and you can easily hear guests walking around on the floor above you. Aside from that though the beds were fine, room had all we needed, McDonalds right next door was a great spot to grab coffee in the morning, and after our initial encounter with staff that wasn’t the most welcoming everyone else was great. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for the hotel itself but definitely recommend for location!
Great Hotel!
We had plenty of space for our large family. Staff was great on cleaning and getting us supplies. Will definitely stay here again!
Great Hotel and Location!
We had the family suite at the pool level, floor 4. We were 2 moms and 3 children age 6, 8, 9. The room with the King bed also had a lounge area, lots of shelving with drawers, microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. The second room had two queen beds, a lot of shelving with drawers, the bathroom and a spacious vanity area. The rooms presented nicely upon arrival. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed easy access to the pool. Also at this level was an ice machine and vending machine. The hotel staff was polite and helpful. The walk to the park was easy and convenient. It was also nice to be next to Mcdonald's for morning coffee. The room coffee was not good. The only thing missing at this hotel is a morning hot breakfast. I'd stay here again.
Clean and affordable
Very clean and affordable. It's right across the street from Disneyland, easy walking distance. Staff are very friendly as well.
All around great!
Rooms were clean, Friendly staff. Short walk to Disneyland!
Overall stay was nice
The 2 bedroom suite was nice because both rooms are spacious. The rooms have an updated design and there's a lot of storage. It has a safe, mini fridge, and microwave. The one thing that's lacking in the suite is that it only has one bathroom and it seems like there is room for 2. The other minor thing is there's not a fan in the bathroom. The pool area is nice for watching fireworks, but it's a small pool. But the hot tub is really small. It only fits 4, maybe 5 people, and you're crammed in. The location of the hotel is the reason why I'd stay here again. It's just a short walk to the entrance of Disneyland, and if you need to go back to the hotel mid-day, it's easy. The parking is valet only, and the website says it's $22 per day for the first 2 cars you bring, however when you get there it's actually $22 for the first car amd then $29 for the second car. Overall the stay was nice and I would stay here again.
Great place with a great view!
The family suite was spacious and clean. We had an amazing view. It was quiet for being in a busy area.
nice hotel
We arrived to the hotel early and there was a room available but to check in before 3 pm there's a $55 fee plus tax which didn't make any sense to me since the room was sitting there available. We decided to save our money let them park the cars and came back after 3 pm for check in. The family suite was plenty of room for 6 people. This suite is 2 rooms, 1 king, 2 queens and a sofa bed. The table in the living area was kind of low to eat on; but was nice they had a table for the kids to eat at. Wish they had more than one bathroom. The beds were super comfy. The rooms were clean and updated since we last stayed there. Housekeeping comes every day to take out trash and replace towels. The staff was nice, you can only valet park but retrieving your car any time day or night was very easy the the attendant was great.
Clean Hotel
The hotel was clean, wish the family rooms were closer to the front of the hotel
Love this place!
I love this hotel! It is right across from Disneyland and so close! Hotel staff were super nice and the rooms are nice as well.
Location was key...
Very close to Disneyland which was super nice, however there is a parking fee (which would need to be paid to park at the resort anyway) laundry costs $2 for wash $2 for dry & closes at 10pm (we were at the park from open to close so...) no continental breakfast. Rooms aren't cleaned daily only towels & trash are removed & replaced. Overall rooms were nice but the hotel is pricey for what you really get. Only benefit was it's across from the park but again...parking fee!
Good but not great
The staff and valet were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to Disneyland which is a major plus. Another plus, right next to McDonald’s and Panera Bread for morning coffee as you head out to the park. However, the beds were old and bumpy. A lot of cabinet space but bulky and out of place And the walls super thin. It was almost as the door and window were open. The bathroom did not have a restroom extractor. If you are a light sleeper don’t recommend otherwise semi fair for the price. Oh and not pet friendly.
Large and Spacious!
One bedroom suite was large and roomy. The housekeeping replaced towels and garbage daily. Air conditioner didn’t work well- always seemed stuffy. Overall nice hotel
Location is KEY
Basic Economy Hotel. BUT the location is worth every penny!! Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. No frills or extras...but LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!
Amazing hotel!
This hotel is amazing! We have stayed at this hotel since 2009. The updates made to the rooms are super nice! Close to the park!
Would stay here again!
The location was key to our stay. We didn’t have to rent a car and were able to do the trip on foot. The rooms are clean and what you’d expect for a hotel room. We were in a room with a balcony facing Disney so we were able to watch fireworks from our room. Noise of the street or other guests wasn’t an issue for us. The little shop had cheap water (compared to Disney) and we didn’t know that until the end of the trip. The pool was heated And the hot tub is tiny. The kids had fun using it regardless. The room has a microwave and mini fridge. That was helpful for quick morning breakfasts. We literally were gone from 7:30-10 every day so you really just need a place to crash at the end of the day. It was great! The shower curtain was awkwardly short and the floors got saturated whenever we showered. But other that that, it was great. Staff was great too.
Great Staff
They were helpful and made things very easy. Suggest to make light in shower area NOT motion sensor.
Nice & Clean
The distance from DL was easy and rooms were clean. There is a mobility scooter rental place on the main floor that was necessary for our party and helpful to have it close by. The shower curtain is too short for the shower and so water got everywhere- my only complaint.
Great location
Awesome location with only a few minute walk to where you cross the street over to Disney. Several food locations within walk as well. The hotel room was spacious and was great for our family of 6. Only con was the pool and hot tub were tiny, the pool itself only went 3 feet deep. Not a big deal since we were there in January, but we still used it and it wasn’t the best. Also parking is $22 a night so keep that in mind. Worth it for us to be close the park. We came back to the hotel each day to rest for a bit in the afternoon and then went back over to the park. Would stay here again.
Great value
Great value. Spacious family suite and plenty of room to hang out together. Very close to the entrance. The only recommendation would be that they have 2 bathrooms for the family suites that sleep up to 8 people. It’s kind of tricky sharing 1 bathroom between that many people.
It was an older hotel, rooms where decent
Location and price was right. Didn’t like that they charged extra for parking(payed $50 for 2 day parking) also didn’t like that they park your car and keep the keys! Will probably pick this hotel when traveling to Disneyland only cause of price and location( 2 blocks from Disney land , 10 min walk)
It was perfect!
We got the 2 room family suite which was very large and spacious for our large family of 6. No breakfast offered so we brought our own. The distance from the room to the park was super close. About a 5 min walk. It was perfect!
Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay at the Camelot. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Rooms were clean. Walk was quick and convenient.
Great location
I loved being so close to the park it was a great stay
Spacious but no daily housekeeping
Wish they would come in and make your beds every day like they used to. The rooms for spacious and I loved having all the countertop space.
This place is great
We had a king/2 queen suite for our family. The main living area included the king bed, a sofa bed, a long counter with lots of drawers and storage shelves, microwave, mini fridge, and another table/couch area. The bedroom had 2 queens, bathroom (open vanity with sink, enclosed tub/toilet), another long counter with lots of storage, and a tall storage shelf for suitcases or whatever. Both spaces had their own tv and AC unit. It was very comfortable for our large family and easy to get everything put away and sorted (or left sprawling on the counters). Only a few doors down from the crosswalk to Disney, it was super easy to go back and forth for a midday break. If you’re debating whether to get 2 rooms or a suite for a larger family, this place was great. Parking is valet only for a daily fee and breakfast is not included. Laundry is $1.25 for soap and $2.00 for each washer and dryer, if your family tends to go through their whole suitcase in 2 days like mine did. Only light housekeeping during our stay-replenish towels, take out garbage. Would definitely stay here again.
I would definitely recommend this hotel!
This was our first time staying here and we loved it! We were staying as a family of 6 with 3 being teenagers and one 2 year old so the family suite was a must for us. I loved being able to come back during the day and get a good nap in for my toddler and it was really doable with the location. The rooms were clean and nice and the family suite was great. The only thing I would change is to add a extra bathroom because one shower and bathroom with 6 people is a little tight but we made it work just fine. There is no breakfast but McDonald’s is right there and fast. We did swim and the pool was simple but clean and nice and we were the only ones in it. We also requested a room in the back away from Harbor because we heard it can be loud and they accommodated us and it was nice and quiet in the back. They also let us check in 2 hours early which was a life saver for the nap as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Everything was great
Everything was great except for the cleaning service. Only cleaned our room every three days. Bummer since I’m on vacation and cleaning is the last thing I want to be doing.
Phenomenal!
This hotel is phenomenal! The friendliness, proximity, and upgraded rooms are great!
Nice hotel
Nice hotel close to Disneyland
It was fresh and clean
It has been awhile since I stayed at this Hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised at the refurbishments that had been done. Gone was the outdated interior. It was fresh and clean. The bed was surprising comfortable. The AC was not loud or noisy. We could not hear the neighbors, even when kids were running in the corridor it was not disturbing. We were on the 5th floor and the view of the fireworks was amazing. The staff were wonderful to work with. I will definately stay here again and recommend to friends.
The rooms were very nice and clean
We stayed at the Camelot Inn and Suites many years ago, a couple of times due to location. Nothing great about it except location. We stopped staying there because it was a bit dated. Recently we had heard the rooms were remodeled and decided to give it a chance again. The rooms were very nice and clean. We stayed in their King Suite, which is probably one of the biggest suite hotel rooms we have ever stayed in, very comfortable. Could use an extra bathroom but we were fine. The location really can't be beat. Downside is there is no breakfast like many other suite hotels offer, but we managed anyway. Tons of storage for clothing and suit cases in our room. Very comfortable for 7 people.
Great location
Convenient location to the park. Great poolside views of the firework show. Friendly staff. Onsite coin operated laundry facility.
Great staff and location
The hotel is right across the street from Disneyland and California Adventure. All Hotel and Valet staff were great. The only issue I had was the water pressure in our shower was really low.
Clean and close, but some flaws
This hotel was clean and close to Disneyland. But it had horrible water pressure, the remote for the tv didn’t match and was hard to use (smart tv-old tv remote for a different model), the safes battery was dead and couldn’t be used, and you had to put your room card into a slot on the wall for the lights to be turned on. You also have to use their valet service. You are not allowed to park your own car. You can get your car at any point, but it’s annoying having to wait to have it brought up or if you just want something out of it, you can’t just pop down and get it quickly for yourself. The beds were comfortable though. And it was nice being so close to the park.
Loved staying here!!
Loved staying here! We got a room right by the pool gate!!! Family suite for our family of 7!! Great and friendly staff!!!! Pool was perfect for our kids to enjoy! Saw the fireworks from our room!! No breakfast but I just ordered from instacart for breakfast and snacks. McDonald’s and Panera are also right next door!!! I loved that we were right across the street from Disneyland!!! Very grateful to be so close after a long day!! Definitely will stay here again!!!
Basic but good
Basic hotel, no frills. Could be updated. Good use of storage space. Walking distance to theme park.
Very nice
They are very nice, rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was very cold
Great hotel
Great hotel. Only issue was with room key reader on door. Got locked out of our room once and had to wait for maintenance to come to room to let us in. Maintenance then replaced batteries on key card reader and it began working again.
Rooms have been updated
They have done updating to this hotel, but I am sad to see they took out the queen sleeper sofa to put in a twin. The table and chairs are gone which means the only place to sit and eat is the beds
Book here if close is what you are looking for
Our room was on the small side (King with pull out chair-bed), but it was efficient. It had the sink and vanity outside the toilet/shower room. It had a small fridge, a microwave and coffee pot. Parking is $17 per night plus 17% tax so that adds up quickly. The walk to the park is easy, which is the main reason we chose this hotel. There really isn't anything that distinguishes it from the other "Motels" along Harbor Blvd. though. If the price is right, book here if close is what you're looking for.
Would stay here again!
This hotel was remodeled during the pandemic. We always stay here and we liked the updated remodel, comfortable furniture. We would stay here again!
Clean room, no frills hotel, great location.
Clean room, no frills hotel, great location.
Good location
The suite was big enough for 7 people and close enough to Disneyland that we walked back and forth to take naps or to end the day. The only issue was one bathroom, the counter is big enough for two sinks. You cannot have a suite with one bathroom or one sink.
I highly recommend this hotel
This is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Everything was very clean and in great repair. I had a problem with the fridge and the maintenance people came are repaired it right away. This hotel has every need planned for and organized. I was extremely impressed. All the staff were friendly, caring and professional.
Great family suite
Loved this suite that fit all 7 of us!
Great location
Great location for walking to Disneyland parks, and easy to walk back to for breaks with children. The rooms were updated; however, windows are single pane and able to be open (which is a safety issue for children/toddlers). Ask for a room away from Harbor if you prefer less noise.
Clean and convenient!
It was a very clean and spacious room with great storage capabilities. Beds were comfortable. Loved the convenience of the location being walking distance to Disneyland and also, right next to a McDonalds. Our window to our room faced Disneyland and it was a great view, however, the windows were paper thin and you could hear every car that went by, especially the extra noisy ones or trucks. It sounded like the window was open and it wasn't.
Amazing location
2 driveways and you are crossing into the Harbor entrance into Disneyland!!! McDonalds right next door for those that want a breakfast. Rooms aren't super fancy but if you are like us...we come to Disneyland to close the parks down so we basically sleep and shower at the room. Plenty of counter space and storage to bring your own food for snacks, breakfast etc.....
Great rooms and perfect distance to the parks
Room was clean and a great size. The bed and pullout couch were very comfortable. Perfect distance to the parks.
We will definitely be returning to this hotel!
This hotel was perfect distance from Disneyland. We were able to go back and forth multiple times a day to rest and cool down. Our room was right across from the pool, which we loved! We were able to watch the Disneyland fireworks every single night of our stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to this hotel!
Not 1 complaint!
This Hotel was everything. Not 1 complaint. Location was right across the street from disneyland. The cove market right next door sold snacks/disney merch for cheaper. McDonald's next door for breakfast. Will definitely be staying here for next years disney vacay
Large and Comfortable Rooms
Very helpful. Nice to be able to park after checking out while we were at the park. Room was large and comfortable.
Enjoyed our stay
We stayed in the family room, very clean, lots of space for everyone. Enjoyed the spa after walking at Disneyland.
Great Location
The location was perfect. It was right across the street from the park entrances, it took us about 5 minutes to get to the entrance area. There is also a McDonald's and Panera right out front of the hotel which made it easy to grab a quick breakfast before heading into the parks. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was one of the newly refinished rooms. It was just a standard hotel room, but it was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. It is a motel with exterior entrances, so there is some outside noise. The pool and hot tub area were small and basic. My children only had a short time to spend in the pool, and they had no complaints. But if you're looking for a nice pool area to spend some time at, I would look elsewhere. Since it is literally across the street, the pool area offers a great view of the fireworks in Disneyland. It is nice to be able to step outside your door and see them without having to be in the park too late.
We will return!
Recently remodeled family suite it was nicer than I anticipated for the price point. Plenty of room. The fold out sofa worked well for our children. Housekeeping was exceptional room was clean. Air conditioning units remained constant no turning on and off all night. Downside only 1 bathroom in the family suite. Parking is 20$ a night per car. Plus it is valet parking so prepare to not have easy access to your cars and prepare to leave a tip. Proximity though is everything! McDonald’s next door and Disneyland crosswalk is 100 yards away. We have stayed here before and will stay again. Nice remodeled room!
Lots of space!
The room wasn't one of their newly refurbished ones so it was outdated. But kids all liked the beds, there was plenty of space, we had two fridges which was a plus. Other than being outdated the room was great. Maid service was great, room was cleaned, towels refreshed it was great. The pool\sauna is old and tiny...its nice to have something to do on a down non-disney day but other than that it was great.
Good for large families
We stayed in a One Bedroom Family Suite. Grandmother, Parents and two children. It had plenty of beds, kitchen table, microwave, sink and fridge all of which was very nice. The downside was only one bathroom. Sometimes you just need two bathrooms!
Quiet hotel
Friendly staff, clean, the room was large with counter space, quiet, a very easy walk to Disneyland.
Good location and staff
The Camelot is family friendly and right across the street from the park. That makes it really convenient when you have tired feet at the end of your day. The hotel has done some recent refurbishment and it’s beautiful (and very clean). The staff is also very friendly and attentive.
Great size and location
The big suite was nice and gave everyone room to spread out. The location was nice to just be able to walk to and from the parks. Though the shower was horrible it couldn’t keep its temperature controlled it would go from burning hot to ice cold in the same minute without any adjusting. The mattresses were not very comfortable at all.
Great location
Right across the street from Disneyland. Can walk to the parks in less than 10 minutes - no need for a car. Hotel was clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff did an excellent job cleaning the room each day. Small store next to hotel was convenient for getting items for breakfast each day.
Excellent location
Hotel was right across the street from Disneyland and was a very easy walk. There were several restaurants around the hotel for less expensive dining.
Good location and staff
We upgraded to the remodeled room and loved it! The hotel was pretty much across the street so the location was so convenient. Loved their elevated level pool. The housekeeping was amazing and detailed our room perfectly each day. The staff was amazing. I can't say one bad thing.
Close to the Parks
Hotel is close to park and the staff is very friendly.
We loved our suite!
Hotel is so beautiful after remodeled! We stayed in the family suite, it was so perfect for my family of 4! Lots of space for everyone ! And it’s right across the street from Disneyland.
Fantastic service and great location
The hotel has great service and it is right across the street from the main gate.
Fantastic!
The Camelot is fantastic! The rooms have been revamped adding large counters for multiple people to get ready and multiple drawer space. It is just a few minute walk to Disneyland. The pool on the third floor offers a great firework viewing experience if you still want to see the show but the kiddos wanted to head to bed. This is my second stay at this hotel and it won’t be my last.
We will be looking at staying here again in the future!
Our hotel was amazing for our family of 7. We were 10 minutes from the gates at Disney and loved coming home and relaxing in the pool and the air conditioning. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious for our 5 rambunctious kiddos. We did wish there were some charging stations available for our electronics. We will be looking at staying here again in the future!
Love the staff!
The staff was amazing! especially Jasmine at the front desk!
Clean and Comfy
The room was clean, comfy beds, and lots of room in our 1 bedroom suite!
Truly Fantastic!
To whom it may concern, I just wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the wonderful job that you are doing at Camelot Inn in Anaheim. We visit Disneyland every year and this is our second time staying there, it's convenient close to the park and within our budget. My family and I were there July 9th to 11th, we were pleasantly surprise with a great room, clean, cozy and with a balcony! (Pleasant surprised) where we enjoyed Disneyland fireworks, something we usually avoid due to overcrowds, we finally got to experience it, with out the stress of trying to get the best spot, my grandchildren enjoyed it very much. From the front desk employees to the valet attendants, they were fantastic people, very helpful and friendly. Thank you again, see you next year.
10/10 Hotel Service
Every employee we associated with was very accommodating and overall nice. The room was perfect for us and loved the layout/design of it. 10/10 for this hotel service!
Clean and comfy
The room was clean, comfy beds, and lots of room in our 1 bedroom suite!
Cute theme
Love the big, roomy suites. It makes it easier to wind down at the end of the day. It was so helpful to have the fridge and the microwave in our room; makes it easier to save some money on a Disney trip. Keep in mind you can see the fireworks from the hotel, so you'll be able to hear them too ;) We expected that, so the noise didn't surprise us. Pretty cool that you can catch the show from the hotel!
Extremely Noisy Hotel
We just got back from a 4 night stay at this hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the location to the park. When we first arrived the elevator had all these blankets up in it. It looked very dingy and rundown. The room itself was fine. We stayed on the 4th floor. Unfortunately for us, the entire time we were there the guests above us sounded like a heard of elephants. I don’t blame the guests, I blame the hotel for being extremely old and not sound proof in any way. I had to call both nights at midnight because the noise was out of control. We stayed at the park from open to close every night but were never able to get a good nights rest. I’m a very easy going person and have never left a negative review but I wish I had known how loud the hotel was going to be. I will not stay here again.
Amazing hotel!!!!
We enjoyed our stay. Our room was literally across from the pool which was so nice. The pool is on the 4th floor, so if you want the pool near 4th floor is best. We had a suite with 2 rooms and 1 bathroom. Very comfy beds and the rooms have plenty of space. We had 8 in the suite and were very comfortable. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The distance to Disneyland is also amazing. I highly reccomend this hotel if you want to be close to Disneyland. You wont regret staying here. ♡
Awesome hotel!
Our family stayed here in May 2018, and we definitely made the right choice to stay here! We opted for the two bedroom family suite. The hotel is not real high quality, but it is comfortable and VERY close to the parks. I do not have any complaints about this hotel, I just gave it 4 stars for the fact that it is an economy level hotel. I would recommend staying here!
Great family suite!
The king suite is roomy, well set up with 2 refrigerators and a large dining table, 2 separate rooms, comfortable beds-king and 2 queens plus sofa bed with plenty of room for a baby crib too. each room has sink. share toilet and shower bath. we were also warmly greeted every time we passed a staff member and on check in day they texted us at the park saying our room was ready early!
Great family suite
Our second stay at the Camelot Clean rooms Two fridges in the suite. We brought our own food to eat healthier and save money. Loved room 330 for the small balcony. Could see the fireworks. Service was great! We do not like to be disturbed, no beds made, etc while we stay. But they were right there when we requested clean towels. It's an older hotel so not as many outlets as electrical devices. It's a decent room especially when you consider that you're not planning to stay in the room all day long. We came for Disneyland! I believe all of the hotels around Disneyland have parking fees. It's all prime real estate around the mouse. But it was nice to park the car and not have to move it while we stayed three nights. Everything is walking distance: Disneyland & restaurants, plus a lot of places deliver. At Camelot, there is a scooter/wheelchair/stroller rental. It's best to call and reserve. The employee says they sell out daily. 714-533-1444. Tell them RoxAnn sent you. I don't get anything for it, but they were so very helpful to my family that I told them I would tell people about them. They probably heard that before, but I want to prove to them that I'm spreading the word. Thanks.
Overpriced
The customer service was very nice. The location made the price tolerable. The quality of the room left a little to be desired. There were stains on the carpet, and the beds were very uncomfortable. The room was very humid, and there wasn’t a fan in the bathroom which made the room more humid after the shower was used. The air conditioner didn’t help much, it was either feel like you were in a sauna or freeze.
Great place to stay
We were very satisfied with our stay. We read all the reviews and most people complained about hidden fees. There wasn't any hidden fees. There was a charge for parking and a 40 refundable incidental charge. People also complained about the noise. We weren't bothered by any of these complaints. After a long hot day at the park it was nice to just have to cross the street to get back to our room. We will be staying here again!
Love the family suite
This was the second time my family stayed at this hotel. We had the family suite this time and it was perfect. There is a parking fee but it says that on the Get Away Today description and they also called to let us remind us about it before we left for vacation. The room was clean and had plenty of room, beds comfortable and no excessive noise. The only thing that would make it better would be breakfast. I would stay again.
Lacking in customer service
We had continuous issues with their customer service at this hotel, both during phone calls before our visit and the entire week we stayed there. We called down to the desk multiples times for extra towels or blankets, never received any and had to go get our own more than once, and house keeping didn't come around a couple days when we requested it. Parking is NOT included in the room rate, which is an additional $90, plus they charged us more for valet which we had to use because they ran out of regular spots. When we tried to get assistance from Getaway Today, the front desk called us to ask who was working that we had issues with and never followed up, but at that point they were missing the point of what our experience was. In the end, nothing was remedied and that felt frustrating. Also, the pool is filled with salt water and is gross! Prepare to shower afterward, you will feel gross! In the end, the location was awesome but that was the only thing this hotel had going for it. Next time we will stay at one of the other hotels across the street.
Hidden and Extra Fees
We chose to stay at the Camelot because it is right across the street from Disneyland and it is one of the few hotels that offer a family suite large enough to fit our family of 7. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms, though a little dated, were clean and comfortable. We had two small refrigerators and a microwave in our suite that allowed us to keep food and have meals in the room which helped us save on food costs in the park. We did have to pay $15 per day + 17% tax for parking ($88 total), something I didn't find out until the day before we left, so I wasn't able to cancel the reservation and choose another hotel without a fee. In addition to the parking fee, I was also charged $40 for "incidentals". This fee wasn't listed anywhere on either the hotel or Get Away Today's website, so I wasn't prepared for that one. Even though the location is convenient, the rooms comfortable and the staff pleasant, I won't stay here again. I could have put that $120 of fees towards another hotel that offers free parking and a free continental breakfast, which would have ultimately saved us even more.
So close to park!!
My kids and I really enjoyed staying here. We were so pleasantly surprised when we saw we were right across the street from Disneyland and were within walking distance of Walgreens and different restaurants in the area. Our beds were so comfy after hours and hours of walking and I especially appreciated how we were able to leave our belongings at the hotel (at no extra charge) on our check-out day so that we could enjoy our last day without lugging our bags around. Would definitely love to stay here again next time we go!
Parking not included with the price of the room? Not a fan of that.
the room was decent, the beds were ok, there were only 2 teeny garbage cans so we had to ask the front desk for a couple of large garbage bags since we were eating in our room a lot. I don't understand why you have to pay extra for parking...That was an extra $70 we didn't want to spend. Although the room was decent I felt the hotel itself is laid out funky, the elevators were dirty and there was no view of the fireworks from our balcony like in the last place we stayed. The staff were all very friendly and it was conveniently located to Disneyland.
Close to Disneyland
My family loved how close we were to Disneyland. It was perfect when we needed to run back to the room cuz we forgot something. We stayed in the family suite which was great for how many people we had.
