We were a family of 5 staying in a King Bunk Bed Suite. The Good: We arrived at approximately 10AM on check-in day, and asked if we could store our luggage. Our room was ready, so they let us check-in early, at no charge, which was GREAT. The room was very spacious with comfortable beds and sturdy bunk beds which were great for teens. Everything was clean and the room was very quiet. We faced the freeway, but there were no issues with freeway noise. Breakfast was good with different selections every day. Parking was easy - there is underground parking with elevators straight to the guest floors. The Not-So-Good: Housekeeping is every 2 days, which is fine, but would come at odd hours. We tried to schedule with the front desk, but housekeeping did not arrive during the promised time, so we had to wait until the third day. (They did supply us with plenty of clean towels, etc...) Although the room is spacious, there was surprisingly little storage space for clothes and suitcases. Only 3 drawers and a very small closet space. Also, the walk to/from Disneyland is only about 15 minutes and totally doable, it's far enough away after a long day that we ended up getting an Uber a couple of times. There was an ART bus stop nearby, so I would suggest purchasing the discounted ART tickets before your stay. All in all, a great hotel, and I would stay again.

AMAZING! SPOTLESS CLEAN. The perfect hotel for Disneyland ! 15 minute SHADED walk through a clean , peaceful area. The pool is heated WARM for night time or day time swimming. Huge breakfast with gluten free options. MASSIVE family suite that gives adults some relaxation while the kids have bunk beds in a different area. 2 tvs in the king bunk bed room so no disagreements on what to watch! Large kitchen and eating area. Overall 5 stars for value and cleanliness!

The hotel is not actually an acceptable walking distance to Disneyland, especially at night. There is a bus that comes every 20 minutes that picks up in front of the hotel. The breakfast choices were sufficient but not great. The staff was friendly and helpful and the property clean. Our room was facing the freeway so we heard cars all night long. Ask for a room facing toward Disneyland to avoid the noise.

its a very nice hotel we were impressed and excited right away. However... when we left the little thing on the bed that states we would like our beds made they ignored it and did not make our beds. The first night there, we had a maintenance man try to just walk in at 8 30pm we were all trying to go to bed early, and it scared us to death. It was a man saying he was there to fix the ac. We had not been informed anyone would be coming or about the ac having an issue at all. he didn't even try to knock just was trying to get the door open. I felt it was completely unprofessional the way they handled this situation, as well as made us question our safety. We also called the next morning at 9 am to ask for clean bedding because we had a child have an accident and they told me they could not come make the beds because we hadn't given them 24 hours notice... we were not informed of this policy either... I told them we at least needed a clean sheet for the one bed and they brought all new sheets for all the beds but just set them on the counter for us to make our own beds. I feel we pay good money to be there and the service was not great. We loved how close Disney was walking distance and that was nice! and the morning breakfast was awesome! It was a nice hotel, just terrible service for our experience.

Breakfast was awesome. Eggs, a breakfast meat (chicken sausage and turkey bacon offered the days we stayed), potatoes, yogurt, fruit, breads and bagels to toast, yogurt and fruit, cold cereal, coffee, pancakes( or french toast), and scrambled egg whites offered. They also had fruit juice and milk dispensers. Beds were clean and comfortable. Room was quiet. My only complaint was the mini fridge didn't have a freezer. They allow you to use their parking lot the day you check out until 10 pm. So we didn't have to pay to park at Disneyland our last day at the park.

I loved this hotel! The rooms are spacious and spotless. I loved the free breakfast. The best free breakfast I’ve ever had! The only downside is the walk. While it’s not bad in the beginning of your trip, 10 minutes or so, that turns into 20 by the end of the night, especially after a few days. And it’s about 10-15 minutes from the hotel to the sidewalk (other side of crosswalk) that takes you down thru security, not 10-15 minutes to security. Just something to be mindful of.

The hotel was nice, easy access to freeway and short drive to Disney parking structure. Breakfast was great as well. However the parking was horrible, we were not told about the possibility of the lot being full at the end of the day and were not told of the overflow parking across at the garden walk. I was incorrectly advised to pay out of pocket to park at the sun coast next door and walk to the sun coast office to pay my ticket and come back to element on checkout to be refunded. Upon doing that I was not helped at sun coast office and advised go pay at the kiosk, the kiosk then printed a blank receipt. The element Westin did help and took care of all the parking fees for my stay and for the inconvenience of the parking and the rude treatment from their staff at night after a full day at Disney.

The hotel is modern and a close walk to Disneyland. We had issues with the people in the room above ours stomping and slamming things loudly until midnight. Although it finally quieted down after the front desk called them, the constant noise started again at 6:00 AM the next day. Of course we were already getting up early to go to Disneyland, but we didn't want to take another night of going through this again. The front desk was kind enough to move us to a higher floor, and we were able to get a good night's rest. We are very grateful for how they handled the issue.

Just got back from our 4 night stay at the Element and had a wonderful time. Beautiful hotel room - we were unexpectedly upgraded to a corner room due to lack of rooms similar to what we had booked. Be sure to request a room on the side opposite the freeway - we had Disneyland views from ours and there were no freeway sounds. Room had small kitchen and a sofa bed, which we really didn’t use. But room was spacious and clean. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the parks, which we tired of easily after walking 12 miles a day, so we Ubered back and forth at about $7 a pop. Worth it! We didn’t expect cleaning services but came back to a weird half-attempt at a cleaning one day. Garbage bags literally placed on top of the garbage and toilet paper not replaced. Felt like an almost angry cleaning? Weird, but totally fine. We opted out of cleaning the other days. Breakfast was fine - bagels/toast/egg options every day, but we chose not to eat it the 3rd/4th days because it was so repetitive. Again, nice to have but not exactly the variety we like. We would totally stay at the Element again - I’d say it’s in our top 3 with the Homewood (convention center) and Residence Inn. Close enough to the parks and swanky enough to feel a little luxurious.

The hotel is beautiful however, the ceilings are thin. You can hear foot steps from up above. You can hear the freeway noise all day and night. The pool smells like natural gas or something. It could be from the dryer venting right over the pool area. The breakfast was great and the finish of the hotel are nice. Nice and clean! Parking fees could be a lot less but I think that’s unavoidable. 4 out 5 stars for me.

I stayed at the during a recent hotel tour and I could believe the quality of the hotel room. The room, a family suite was HUGE. It could have easily slept 8 people and still have plenty of room. In addition, I appreciated the kitchen area, including a dishwasher. I will strongly consider staying here again on an extended trip as there is plenty of available (including the awesome pool area) to keep my family occupied during rest days.

The hotel room was great and well laid out and the breakfasts were good, however the pool is in a terrible location with no afternoon sun which was cold even on our warmest day. We tried this hotel for the bunk beds. They are cool and the rooms are super nice but, there is no bathtub or hot tub. The pool is terribly small and cold. The breakfast is very tailored to adults. My kids ate lucky charms every day because it was that or plain cheerios. Ick! The decor is awesome! The parking garage that is next to the elevator is perfect! We stayed for 5 days at the end of January. And we are already looking into staying here again for our next trip!! The rooms were immaculate and ready upon check in. We booked the king bed with bunk beds room. This was perfect for our family of 4. There was so much room to stretch out and relax and the end of the day. The hotel has filtered water in each room which we were so thankful for. And every day my family looked forward to the complimentary breakfast. Cecilia provided us with top notch service at the breakfast buffet!!! Thank you Element staff for an excellent stay! We will be back!

The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is quite polite, pleasant and helpful. There is no porter service, which was a surprise, but they do have luggage carts for use. The quality of breakfast can be improved a bit, but the one on offer is in line with the hotel’s level. There is complimentary coffee, tea and water on offer in the lobby all day, which is a plus. The hotel is quite close to Disneyland, so you can walk there easily (we recommend using a stroller if travelling with younger kids).

Pros of this hotel: -Location. We have stayed at other hotels technically the same distance away from the parks as this one but this one felt so much closer. Only 1 streeet crossing and then half of the walk is empty which is nice at the end of a long day. - room size - we fit 7 plus a baby comfortably. - hotel breakfast seating area is very large - friendly staff Cons: - although the rooms are large, there is only one bathroom. Which means that it is a tricky dance getting everyone ready to go in the early mornings. There is a separate sink in the kitchen area which helps a bit, but for privacy and changing there isn’t enough space with so many people - hotel amenities. There is not a hot tub - we were looking forward to this at the end of the long Disney days - housekeeping - they do not do regular cleanings - which is common- but they said at check in that I could request one for the following day each day (it just had to be 24 hours in advance). So I did that. No cleaning the next day. Did it again, no cleaning the following day. We were completely out of towels, garbages overflowing. When I asked the front desk they said that our room had been cleaned (twice). I said that it hadn’t, and then finally the very last day we were there they came and took out the garbage and left a few towels. -hotel breakfast. It’s not super kid friendly. As an adult it was nice to have great options like breakfast burritos, Turkey bacon, rosemary potatoes, etc. but for kids it was basically only cereal and toast. The last morning (we were there 4 mornings) they did have pancakes. Overall, we will stay here again. The location and room size can’t be beat. And maybe next year they will be back to regular cleanings or I will know to grab some towels every day on our way back up from the parks.

The room seemed clean enough when we got there but we quickly discovered how dirty it was. There was a lot of dirt accumulated behind the night table. You could feel how dirty the floor really was with bare feet. When we opened the couch to pull out the bed we found a lot of dirt and crumbs that did not look fresh. If you looked up you could see dust floating around the room. Occasionally dust balls would come floating down from the ceiling. Aside from it being dirty, the hotel was nice. It’s modern, staff was pleasant, and the location of the hotel is great. Hopefully full cleaning service will be restored soon so this hotel can be enjoyed to its full potential.

The hotel deco is very modern and cool. It has a great pool and outdoor lounge area. Breakfast was very good and helped ease the cost of paying for another meal. The rooms are spacious with a kitchenette, couch, and a big shower. We opted for having our room cleaned 2 of our 4 nights but they never made it to our room. They said to put used towels on the floor so by the time our stay was over we had a huge pile on the bathroom floor. This was my only gripe and I would have rated higher if we would have gotten our cleaning service.

The positives and about the only positives: this hotel is brand new. The room we stayed in, one king, bunk bed and pull out sofa, was a good size room. That’s about all it had going for it. The negatives: sparce selections for the free breakfast, think English muffins and unappetizing other options. Even the fruit looked terrible. The pool was very small and looked murky. The service was overall disappointing. They’re not offering daily room cleaning, but rather you have to request a ‘tidy service’ ie new towels and take out the trash. We requested this each morning and only 1/3 days did it happen. Very disappointing. Not to mention, your a mile walk to the gates of Disneyland. There are better options closer to Disneyland. We won’t be staying again.

Friendly staff, good breakfast. Only negative is we never received the limited housekeeping we requested at check-in, we requested wash cloths on several occasions and never received any either. We had to leave trash outside the door and request more towels and tissue since housekeeping did not clean room.

Staff was helpful and very friendly, hotel was very clean, rooms were big, beds were comfy, breakfast was great and had healthy options each morning. We stayed at the Element for a total of 7 nights and 8 days. The breakfast was good, and convenient. It is a 10-15 mins walk to the Parks at Disney, but definitely felt longer coming back from a full day at Disneyland/DCA. The staff were friendly and always was helping when we had a question or needing more supplies for the room. A bit of a complaint, is the AC vents were never vacuumed and you can see the dust forming in all the vents, especially the one in our bathroom. I also noticed that on the King sized bed, by the headboard, there was still dust on it. We come from HI, where family works at hotels and Housekeeping, so when we go to hotels, we look/and inspect, especially when we’re still living in “COVID times”. We noticed that our paper towel, toilet tissue was used and never changed when we checked in. We didn’t do a cleaning for the time there; but could have requested it if we wanted. We had a total of 6 people to our King sized bed, w/ bunk beds and queen pull out sofa. While everyone had a place to comfortably sleep on, there was not enough shelf storage for a family of 6. Another complaint, we were scheduled for check-out - check out time is at 11am. While we were still packing and getting ready, we get a knock on the door at 10am, stating they were housekeeping. Our “Do Not Disturb” placard was on our door. If we were scheduled to checkout at 11am, they shouldn’t be knocking on the door, but wait until after check out time to see if we’re still in the room. Having laundry on site (only takes credit card payments) was really convenient, and we got to come home with little laundry, a must when coming home from vacation. Front desk does have laundry detergents for sale, but when we inquired they only had bleach so we went to purchase some at Target. Booking on Get Away today was easy, and they were all friendly when I had to call: thank you for making our first visit to Disneyland an easy one!

It is about a 10-15 minute walk from Disney gates in the morning, and feels like 300 minutes on the way back at the end of a Disney day lol. It was clean, smelled good, the buffet breakfast was always decent, and we had a room with a separate bunk bed area for the kids which is one of the key reasons we booked this hotel. The service was always friendly. The pool is small and is in the shade from about 2PM on. They didnt clean our room once during a 6 night stay but we could have requested a clean. There is not enough shelf space to unpack clothes for a family of 4. The freeway noise was quite loud in our room during the night. Overall it was a good value and we may stay again but likely would try to stay somewhere slightly closer to the parks and with a larger pool area.

The hotel is new, spacious and clean. Our room had two queen beds, bunk beds and a pull-out bed so it was perfect for our family of 6. It had a nice kitchen so we ordered groceries from Instacart so we could pack lunches every day and be stocked up on snacks. I wish it was a few blocks closer the park because going back for a midday break almost wasn't worth it since it was an additional 30 minutes of walking round trip but the closer hotels are older and didn't have the suite set-up we needed for our big family.

This was our first experience staying at the Elements and we really enjoyed ourselves. My 16 year old daughter and I decided to stay here last minute so we didn't have a lot of time to research but we were very pleasantly surprised. Everything is new and spacious and pretty well maintained. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was really nice with a little fridge, microwave, plates, cups and utensils. I can definitely see it being very convenient for a family trying to save a little money by making their meals in the room or just refrigerating left overs and warming them up for later. Next to the kitchen is the "living" room with an L-shaped couch and a large tv which was nice to watch for a bit with dinner on our first night. I think the couch folded out to a bed but since it was just the two of us we never actually checked but the couch itself could be slept on comfortably. The bedroom had two queen beds which were very comfortable for us and obviously plenty of room. The bathrooms were the only thing I was a little disappointed in. They were very new and nice but I hate it when the toilet is combined with the sink and shower all in one room because it makes it difficult for a large family to share the bathroom. Only one person can be in it a time and I can remember that being frustrating when you have a kid who is in the shower and another who just needs to use the toilet. Fortunately that didn't really bother us this time since it was just the two of us but we did need to be aware to be courteous of each other when we showered. Also the light in the bathroom was not the best for putting on makeup and there was no makeup mirror so be sure to bring your own. The bathroom door when closed does have a full length mirror but the lighting in the bedroom is even worse for putting on makeup. Other then those minor inconveniences though the room was great; spacious, comfortable and relaxing. The distance from the parks is a little far to me especially after a long day at the parks but its doable to walk it, maybe a 12-15 min. walk. Every morning we walked to Disney but in the evening we would Lyft home and each ride was about $10. Overall our stay at the Elements was great and I would definitely recommend for others to stay there.

My family of 8 stayed here at the beginning of the month May1st-8th, 2022 and it was perfect for my family. I did wish they had bath tubs for my 3 littles, but we made it work. The bunk beds and pull out were perfect for the girls to have a room with a TV to be separate from the boys. The other side of the room with two queen beds was perfect as well for the boys and the two adults. The room had enough space for three strollers and a electric scooter plus all our luggage and merch that was bought in the parks. GAT was very helpful in making sure my family and I had a magical vacation and WE DID!! Also the hotel was very helpful in bringing us towels and such when needed and there is a laundry room, but you do have to pay per load for washing $4.50 and drying $4.00. It was about a 10 to 15 minute walk to DL/DCA just depends on how fast you walk. I definitely would stay here again.

My daughters Six birthday was absolutely amazing from the moment she opened her eyes because the hotel made her feel special, then Disney made her feel special and then coming back to allll the pretty decorations… she felt the magic and the love that day that surrounds her. Thank you element. We will for sure be back. (Also the beds are comfy and the breakfast was good lol)

We have a family of 5 and had a King bed, sleeper sofa and bunk beds. It was nice because everyone had a place to sleep, but the room was quite small. Breakfast was great. We all really liked it and they had a great selection. The staff was all very friendly. They are short staffed, so our room wasn’t ever cleaned in 5 nights, but they were very nice about getting us anything we were out of or needed. It had an on-site laundry facility, which was nice. I just brought some laundry pods from home and did a few loads. It was about a 12 minute /.8 mile walk to the front gate of Disneyland. We walked it each day and it wasn’t too bad. Overall, we enjoyed this hotel.

We enjoyed our hotel stay here. There was a problem with our room not being ready after waiting for an hour we decided to go to dinner and when we got back at almost 10 pm it still wasn't ready. The concierge gave my sister and I different rooms that were ready and apologized. I felt that they did their best with understaffed housekeeping staff. We really liked this hotel. It was clean. The breakfast was nice in the morning. The pool was super cold and small. We were disappointed there was no hot tub. It would also be beneficial to know there are only showers in the rooms no baths. It was pretty close to Disneyland. About 12 min walk. Liked the room layout and location.

Our room had a kitchenette that we didn't realize we were getting. Awesome counter space. There was a mini fridge, microwave, stovetop, sink and even a dishwasher and dishes that could be used. The only issue we had was trying to open the door with the key. There's a trick to it and I think some of my group figured it out. The breakfast was great and had plenty of seating. (Only thing missing for me was waffles and/or pancakes.) But plenty of healthy and good choices. We would totally stay here again!

The Element is a good option if you need lots of beds. We had the family suite with bunk beds and it for our family well. The customer service was great and the beds were comfortable. The cons are thin walls (you can hear everything around you), loud freeway next door, breakfast was below expectations, no hot tub on site. My kids thought the walk to Disney was too long so we ended up doing Lyfts and that worked much better. I think for the price, it was a decent hotel experience overall.

This was fine with us, we just requested new daily towels.Beds were comfortable, which was much needed after a long day of walking at Disneyland. This is very close to Disneyland, less than a half mile. The walk was about 10 min but no longer than 15 min. We walked to and from all three days. There is a shuttle service you can request through an app and pay to get taken to and from Disneyland. The hotel has continental breakfast daily. There was a decent amount of choices for all. We would definitely stay here again.

I changed to this hotel about a month before our travel dates, and boy was I thrilled with that decision. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. right from check in the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room featured a full kitchen, living area will a sleep sofa, and a separate bedroom with two queen beds. We have decided this is the only way to go when it comes to travelling with our kids so we can each have our own spaces when it comes time for bed. (I don't want to have to go to bed at 7pm! lol) We loved the breakfast, eggs and potatoes, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, pastries, and some mornings pancakes or crepes. It was great to be able to bring breakfast up to the room while the rest of the family got ready. It was great that they had an on site laundry room. for $8 I was able to wash and dry a large load of laundry in a little over an hour. The hotel is located near the freeway, but other than being able to see the road from our window, there was virtually no noise to disturb us in the little time we spent in the room. It is a 15 minute walk from the parks, but I will gladly walk that distance to stay at the Element by Westin again.

The hotel itself was fine. It was about a mile walk to Disney main gate. The breakfast was a pretty nice spread. The eggs were very watery and I would not recommend eating those. Everything else was fine. I requested to stay on the side of the hotel away from freeway and we heard no road noise at all. We were originally supposed to be on the top floor and our room was moved to the third. It would have been fine if there weren’t elephants staying above us. Those people were so loud and until very late at night.

We enjoyed our room ( 2 queen and bunk beds ). The room had lots of space for suit cases so it didn't feel cluttered or crowded. We did feel like the breakfast was not kid friendly. The buffet served roasted roots, eggs with spinach, Turkey bacon, spicy diced potatoes, egg whites, etc… finally on our 6th morning they served pancakes! If you can request a room on the back side of the hotel, not facing the freeway, I highly recommend it. The freeway noise is VERY loud. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. They were great to help us with our needs.
