Perfect choice
Friendly staff and so many amenities
Nice hotel
The hotel was huge! The lobby and common areas were beautiful and the in-house Starbucks was so nice! The rooms were clean but very average looking compared to lobby. Only real downside was losing water pressure in the shower to just a slight trickle. Also, be forewarned of a $50/night hold on your card for incidentals.
Good stay
Good overall nice and clean. Lobby is super nice. ART bus stop for Disneyland was a little busy with lots of people Compared to other hotels in the past. Just a lot of people staying at the Hilton and neighboring hotel. Had an issue with a pillow coming up missing that we brought but Hilton made up for it...
Great hotel, but not for Disney magic
This hotel is a very nice, convention hotel. BUT, in the past, I have stayed at other hotels in the area during our days at Disneyland and I would choose to go back to one of those. I would not stay at this hotel again though (for the purposes of going to Disneyland) because it just did not have a Disney feel. We took the shuttle to and from Disney and there was only 1 other guest going to Disneyland. I had a lot more fun on shuttles full of Disney people. I wish I would have considered this when booking this hotel for my mother/daughter Disney trip (daughter is 17). Having elevators full of convention people just made us feel a wee bit out of place. Also, the Starbucks line was sssooo long with convention people (and Hilton Honors people that get to go straight to the front of the line) that we abandoned the line and got coffee in the park.
Perfect Stay
We have no complaints about our stay here, it was so comfortable and easy to stay at this Hilton. We were so close to Disneyland, and the Convention Center. I often travel to Anaheim for business trips, and will come here on my next trip. The children loved the pool and my wife loved the beauty and cleanliness of the lobby and room. We had a great stay and will be back again.
Dirty Room
I checked in on Thursday June 30th and when I went to my room, I was in shock with how dirty it was.I stayed on the 10th floor room 129.The was a dark stain on the bed comforter the size of a golf ball that was very noticeable, the were brown marks on the wall all around the beds headboard.Black scuff marks on the ceiling above one of the queen size beds..Black colored staining on the inside of the bath tub/shower and when I wiped it off with a towel it looked like mold..The room was extremely dusty, when I turned on the lamp dust started to fall of the lamp onto the nightstand next to the bed.Dust all over the both beds headboards. There was even dust all the over the walls.I called to talk with someone at the front desk about the issue and they told me that they would do a deep cleaning the next day.I called back a second time and addressed the problem again with the front desk,I told them I wanted someone to come up and take a look at the room. They sent up a supervisor to look at my room. The supervisor offered to clean my room or I had the option to change rooms only if they had a open availability.I explained to him that I did not want to stay in the dirty room.I did get moved to a new room around 11 pm at night after checking in around 2 pm .The new room was on the same floor but I lost my view of Disneyland and the fireworks at night...The new room had only one problem with it I had a leak in the shower that caused it to drip all day and all night long, talked with 3 people up at the front desk about the problem and not once did someone come up stairs to look at the problem...The only thing the hotel supervisor did for me was gave me a free breakfast for my family of three...I gave the hotel a overall rating of 1 because it was close to Disneyland.I wish getaway had a place to insert pictures to show you what my room looked like..Next time I will stay at the Marriot across the street.
Try for yourself!
I'll admit the reviews had me a bit nervous that we'd be getting a disgusting room. This hotel was lovely. The hotel entrance scent was amazing! Beautiful atmosphere and the rooms were very cozy. Its an older hotel, but maintained. Its a large hotel but you will NOT get lost or confused due to size. Pool area and grill food were awesome! A little pricey on food, but it was convenient and fast. We took the ART to and from disney which was also convenient and always on time. You can't always believe what you read, TRY IT FOR YOURSELF.
Busy, but nice hotel
We didn't realize that our dates were going to be over a major convention, so our hotel was really busy the last half of our trip. Our room was nice and quiet though. The beds were really comfortable, especially after a full day walking to and from Disney.
