Cute, friendly stay
So cute! Friendly staff clean facility
Great Property
Lovely property, had two different shuttle drivers. The one gentleman was super friendly, helpful, and very sweet. The other one was straight up a jerk.
Out-dated hotel
This hotel is gross and old. The beds did not have fitted sheets. The hotel nickel and dimes you. The “free” shuttle is ok but the schedule was inconsistent. The shuttle drivers were the best thing about the hotel. Front desk staff rude and unhelpful. They do not service the rooms. Visible mold and popcorn ceilings.
Great
The free shuttle service was great, the food in the lounge area was very good & very kid-friendly!!! The rooms r nice size but the bathrooms definitely need updating!!!
Free Shuttle!
One of the only hotels with a free shuttle service to Disneyland
Great Stay!
Great place for kids
Great Stay!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. They were decorated for Halloween and it was very delightful for the kids.
Very disappointing
Checked in easy, room was dirty, sheets had dryer lint on sheets in both beds and on the comfortor on one bed. Dirty cup looked like it had blood on it and garbage behind the table between the beds. Called the front desk and they had the room next door available so we moved. Room was a little better, but still needed clearning. Mold on the window and carpet dirty, needed to be vacuumed and cleaned. The water in the bathroom sink had a terrible odor. The breakfast buffet was good, but definitely wouldn't stay there again. Free shuttle is great. Overall though, so disappointing.
Love this hotel!!
We absolutely love this hotel. Even through the refurbishments the staff has been incredible. If there has ever been an issue with the rooms (out of a few years it’s happened once) the front desk is quick to remedy issues and make the experience better for us. The bistro staff is top notch! Miguel has been there for years and is an incredible server; this is one of the major reasons we keep coming to majestic. The shuttles are convenient and another great addition to the hotel. Finally, our daughter loves that the hotel looks like a castle and loves the story the whole facility has about shadow and Corrine.
Not Clean
Dirty sheets by the door in the hallway for two days. Not just one room but several. It was disgusting
Nice Hotel
It’s a nice hotel. The shuttle was prompt. The staff was friendly and we were able to check in early without a fee. The room was quiet and clean.
Amazing staff but needs an update
The staff was amazing, they went above and beyond to help. Never seen staff so great. Room wasn’t service there whole trip, hotel has a lot of cosmetic damage and is very outdated, room was clean and nice, not a lot of plugs to charge phones. The deli/store was a great help, restaurants and bar were great. Hotel isn’t close to other restaurants or service station, shuttle was really great to have but just old school buses, nothing nice, like I said lots of damage throughout halls and on ceilings my 12 year old daughter was wondering if it was themed for like the 80’s. Game room also has games that are probably worth a ton as antiques.
Could use some improvements
The hotel installations are great but the rooms cleanliness is somewhat less than expected. We found a sock left from previous guests on a corner which made us question how well housekeeping cleans the rooms. Also the shower tub was a bit clogged. The electrical cables from the lamps and TV we very visible (they were using power strips) and that gave a look of not well thought out layout. The food was great at both the bar and restaurant but the restaurant only served breakfast and not lunch or dinner. The bar served food but only until 9:45 pm, If you want anything outside those hours, you had to go to their Deli Store which offer some choice of prepacked salads and the usual fast food snacks but that was not ideal. I found the Deli to be closed a couple of times even though it was during their stated working hours.
A little dated but love the shuttle
We love the shuttle to disneyland! But the rooms are a little dated.
Free shuttle
Free shuttle service to Disneyland was great
Pretty disappointed
I was really looking forward to this hotel, but was extremely disappointed in it. Room was very dirty, right next to busy road and could hear traffic all night, uncomfortable beds. Told front desk about issues and they would only move me if I upgraded and paid for a premium room. The only nice thing was the shuttle to and from Disneyland.
Nice but old
The hotel was nice, on the older side. Our water pressure in the shower was horrible and our a/c didn’t work.
The staff makes up for everything
We love staying at the Grand Majestic for its shuttle service and its amazing staff. Some of the rooms are badly outdated. Our first room had rust in the shower mold in the ceiling and smelled old and like cigarette smoke. Thankfully the manager Chris was able to move us immediately to a more comparable room for what we paid for. There was only one bus and one small handicap shuttle our entire week due to other busses being down for repairs, we were not notified this when booking but another guest said it has been that way for months. Since that is a huge determinant of our stay we were disappointed with the longer than usual wait for the shuttle services that are typically advertised. The staff makes up for everything, particularly the bistro staff. We’ve come for 5 years and the staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. Miguel is an amazing manager and remembers you and your family. The food is delicious and is another reason we’ll continue to book Majestic. We hope they will begin updates soon
We loved our hotel
We loved our hotel. From the moment we made contact with the front desk person, we had zero issues. They were great, the drivers of the shuttle were fantastic, and the ladies in the shop were so friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was perfect-always timely. We had a mishap where our daughter got sick on our bedsheets - we requested new sheets and received them VERY quickly. And this was at 5:30 in the morning! We had a great experience here and would return.
Rooms could use an update
Grounds and lobby are beautiful well maintained. Food, restaurant options. Shuttle available. All great. Rooms can use “newer” furniture or cleaned better. A microwave would be an absolute plus. Bed starting to dilapidate
Clean, cozy, quiet
Clean, cozy, quiet, amazing location with shuttle service included!
Hotel was perfect besides the pillows
The only thing I'd say was a bummer were the pillows in the room, they really need to be refreshed, hard and lumpy, but easily remedied next time if we bring our own of course. Otherwise this Hotel was perfect, Big Room great atmosphere staff were amazing and the shuttle to get to and from the park was fantastic!
Would stay again
Biggest standard room I've seen around DLR in a while, small bathroom. Somewhat dated but they are doing work. Shuttle was convenient, still walkable to the parks if necessary. Would stay again.
Needs maintance but the staff is friendly
Beds very uncomfortable. Tub was very slippery and the shower head was too high to change settings. Electrical outlets were very loose when plugging in cords. Sink backed up upon use. TV cut out constantly. Staff was very nice and helpful when needed.
Older Rooms
Rooms need to be updated and the lamps and mini fridge had small issues.
Hotel needs a few updates
Hotel needs a few updates. Shower did not drain bed caved in. Love the location and free shuttle.
Great for entire family
Great for entire family
Large Rooms, Great Shuttle!
We enjoyed our stay here with a few caveats! The pool was great, the rooms are large, there on property market is really helpful! The shuttle is great, but pay attention to times. If you miss it, you'll be waiting a full hour for the next one! We requested a King size room and got a two queen, our travel buddies didn't request a king size room and got one anyway. When we called the front desk we were essentially told to suck it up, so that was a little frustrating. Our travel buddies were also given lanyards and goodies while we weren't, so I think it depends on who is helping you at the desk! Over all, it was a good stay and a great value.
Friendly staff & great service
Staff was very friendly. Theresa helped me with check in & she explained everything. She answered all my questions. The shuttle was very convenient. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant & it was good. Again friendly staff & great service.
A little old
The Lobby area was nice. Staff was friendly but room is old and bathroom was small. A bit dirty.
Beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel. Large rooms. Friendly and efficient staff. Comfy beds with lots of pillows. Convenience Cafe with great hours. 2 other sit down options and a bar. Welcoming lobby with kids TV area, computers and quiet spots to sit. The shuttle ran frequently and the drivers were friendly.
Nice location and staff
Friendly front desk, nice atmosphere, close to Disneyland. Handicap accessible. The only drawback was no housekeeping available during our 5 night stay. This was due to COVID protocols put in place. We were able to get more towels as needed, but the pile of damp/ wet towels was there the whole time. Maybe if they had towel service where they were picked up/replaced as needed (without having to get from the front desk) I would have given a higher rating.
Very kid friendly
The hotel is very kid friendly- there are ducks, a Koi Pond, Pool and nightly family activities. There is an hourly shuttle to and from Disneyland. Staff was helpful. I was very surprised at how big the hotel actually was. It was a long walk back to the room after a busy day at the park.
Our pick from now on
The hotel was amazing! Great value and amazing quality! Will definitely be using get away today from now on!
Not my first choice
This hotel needs to be updated, the mattresses are starting to get old and not comfortable, no USB outlets in room, transportation needs to better organized from the hotel to Disneyland and back. We ended up walking everyday. I would pay a little more to stay closer with updated rooms.
Clean and spacious
The hotel room was very spacious which I really loved. It was clean too which is an extra bonus. One suggestion would be to have more lighting in the room. Other than that it was a wonderful stay at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel. Also, the shuttle service to Disneyland was great. The shuttle drivers were very polite and nice. Overall great experience at this hotel.
Okay hotel with great staff
I originally decided on The Majestic because of the location to the parks and the photos of the rooms that were available online. Overall our stay was 'ok'. The staff were wonderful! However, the room was just alright. The photos online show fresh updated rooms, however our room seemed to only be partially updated. The floor was lumpy, and the wallpaper in the bathroom was coming away from the wall in the corners. The paint in the bathroom was peeling as well. Overall the bathroom was clean with no mold or mildew buildup. But when you are taking a shower and you look up and see paint peeling it tends to start making you look at the smallest details. Overall our room was clean when we entered. Again, the staff were wonderful, and I feel our rate was fair, but I will not choose to stay at The Majestic in the future.
Liked the theme!
Great staff, love the shuttle and the dragon lore made the hotel more fun
Loved the location
It was clean and spacious and the lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays and had plenty of space for relaxing and hanging out. The pool and hot tub were a perfect place to watch fireworks a few days into the trip when not feeling up to going back to the park.
Big rooms, great staff
The front staff was amazing! The room was clean and spacious
Great Experience
We took our granddaughters to Disneyland in September. We stayed at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel. The experience was wonderful from the helpful front desk, the dining staff who went out of their way to make the special order my granddaughter requested to the absolute best shuttle service. We are taking 2 more grandchildren to Disneyland in March and we are staying in AMG again. Highly recomend.
Somewhat outdated
The rooms could use some love. They were outdated and not in the "cool" way. They just need some attention especially for the price they are charging.
Not what I expected
Dresser drawers wouldn’t stay shut, no microwave in room, shuttle was very crowded especially at night when you want to just get back to the hotel after a Long day you’d have to sit and wait for three or more shuttles to come back.
Perfect experience
We fell in love with this hotel! The location was perfect! We enjoyed taking the shuttle in the morning, it got us there in time for rope drop every morning! It was also not a bad walk back taking the downtown Disney route and using the brand new path that was just completed for the parking garages. We opted to walk back a couple nights instead of taking the shuttle so we didn’t have to take the kids out of the stroller and it was just fine! The rooms are extremely spacious, we had room for all our luggage and could even leave our stroller up with plenty of room. The beds were comfortable as well, especially after a long Disney day! We have 0 complaints about our stay and will stay here from now on, until we decide to splurge on a resort hotel lol! Our kids thought the hotel was so cool and it looked like a castle. The lobby was beautiful and even had a little kid area with a tv and small couch, the kids enjoyed this! We did not use the pool or see it because we were busy at Disney. Staff was very nice. We ate at their restaurant once, it is pricey but convenient! Also had room service and would definitely use that again!
Good food
The hotel staff was wonderful. Rooms were clean and large. Restaurant food was great. Overall, the facility and staff were amazing!
Our go to hotel
I have stayed here multiple times and enjoy coming back. The rooms are nice (some stuff a bit outdated) but staff are friendly and always clean. Love the free shuttle offered to Disneyland.
Large and nice
The lobby area is very large and nice. The theming is great! We were unfortunately put in one of the back buildings which was pretty far, especially after walking miles at Disneyland. The halls were hot, the vending machine on our floor was down. The air conditioning in the room was great but unfortunately there was no microwave. The checkout process was easy and hassle free. Overall I’d stay at this hotel again.
Five Stars
Hotel room was extra large, very nice Restaurant. Free shuttle that left every half hour for Disneyland. You can even walk if you wanted, it’s that close. Beautiful swimming pool. Staff was very friendly especially The Front Desk Staff! Very helpful. 5 Stars. Shuttle Drivers were right on time and friendly great Drivers.
Accommodating
Staff and shuttle drivers were very accommodating
Beautiful Grounds
The shuttle service was great! Loved the location, rooms, and friendly staff. We really enjoyed the hot tub, pool and beautiful yards. The elegant rose gardens were a breath of fresh air. The kids loved the game room fun and we loved the nice, clean rooms. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
I'd Recommend!
The hotel is nice and very big! Awesome!
Great Value for a Great Hotel
This hotel was fantastic! It felt that we had walking into a little fairytale village. We loved our stay, the beds were incredibly comfortable and rooms were spacious and clean. We loved the complimentary shuttle, it saved us from stress and spending more money than we needed to. We will be back, we had a great experience!
Big rooms, nice pool
I wish all hotel rooms were this spacious!! Loved the pool area
Not worth the price
Room has quite a bit of damage. Beds not comfortable, very hard to get anything from house keeping. Nothing special or exciting about this place. The price to park was very expensive. I would not come here again or recommend this place. For a recently renovated place its pretty crappy. Only thing good was the shuttle to the park.
Water Damage and Bugs in Room
I had high hopes for this hotel, which apparently was renovated a couple of years ago. It appears only part of the hotel was renovated, however, because our room was terrible. The shower ceiling had pretty obvious water damage - it was bubbling and dripping constantly. Also, we woke up one morning to find the bathroom counter completely covered in tiny bugs. It was absolutely disgusting. We called the front desk about it and was told that housekeeping would come clean everything up. We waited for about twenty minutes for housekeeping to show up before deciding to call the front desk again. The lady we spoke to this time said housekeeping wasn’t even scheduled to come in for another 15 minutes. After we explained the situation to her, she said that their structural engineers would have to look at the water damage and she offered us a new room, which we gladly accepted. This room, however, wasn’t much better. The bathroom had areas of black mold on the wall, probably because there was no ventilation in the bathroom. We decided to stay in this room because it was our last night and we had an appointment we had to make soon. Then, as we were packing up to leave the next day, we were missing an item and thought we may have left it in the first water damaged room. We talked to housekeeping about finding it, assuming we would be able to just go in and check, but another family had been placed in that room! I find it hard to believe that a structural engineer had come to the hotel, examined the damage, and fixed it in the space of a day, which means they placed another family in a room that was unsafe. That was unbelievable to me. It’s not just about the lack of cleanliness in the room, it is about the safety of the people staying there. I most certainly will not be staying there again and I highly recommend everyone avoid this hotel.
Horrible Bed and Room
I was very disappointed in my recent stay on at the Majestic. The standard rooms are in the run down section of the hotel that is not attached the main hotel. Majestic will give you a room with a damaged headboards, rusted shower drains, chipping wallpaper and a broken ac unit. We got our first room and both headboards had damages that were very large. I called the front desk they hung up on me twice. I went down to the front desk and complained about the room. The front desk is aware of the conditions of the headboards and mentioned they are fixing the headboards. They just gave me another room in the same building. The features in the bathroom are rusted around the shower drain. The ceiling has dark spots and the wall paper has seen better days. The ac did not work. Don’t waste your time looking at this hotel. Keep looking for a better option. Disneyland listed this hotel as Superior, clearly the Majestic is paying Disneyland to be listed in such high regards. You been warned of the Majestic and its run down amenities. This hotel needs major TLC to update the rooms and property grounds.
Great for the price
Pros: clean, great shuttle service, roomy Cons: no refrigerator in room as advertised, $16/day parking Overall worked great for our family. Although we had planned on using the fridge for our baby's milk so not having a fridge in the room was annoying. I couldn't remember where I had read that we would have a fridge, so I didn't complain to the hotel to get one. Of course I found the description stating a fridge in each room after we returned home from our trip!
Comfy beds but the room was a mess
This was my third time staying at this hotel and my worst stay yet. Overall the staff was friendly with the exception of the people in their small deli store, the two girls in there were rude and couldn't seem to make time for customers. The room was really dirty, red stains near the bathroom, hoping it wasn't blood. The headboard had a huge rip of material missing and the handle to open the window fell off in our hand. The biggest issue was the bathtub wouldn't drain when you took a shower so you ended up standing in several inches of water. The bathroom was also very unclean looking. I am pretty sure I hasn't had a good scrub in a while.
Clean Hotel, Great Customer Service
We planned our first family vacation over Christmas to Disneyland and after a lot of searching we decided on this hotel. After paying for the vacation before we left I started reading the reviews and many were not great. I am a person that worries a lot so it made me nervous as my daughter has asthma and I didn't want to have to deal with that while on Christmas vacation. So I called the hotel and asked if they could possibly put us in a newly renovated room. We were told that there wasn't any available for what we had selected but we could upgrade for an additional $98 a night. I told her we just couldn't afford that so we would make due. When we checked in everything went smoothly, the front desk was extremely polite and helpful to all my questions, and they called the bellman to carry our bags since we were on the back side of the property. The bellman was helpful unloading all of our luggage (being that there is 5 of us and we were there for 7 days we had a lot). He gave me the tour as we went through the hotel and my husband and kids parked the car. When we got into the room we were pleasantly surprised it was HUGE and extremely clean. Our stay was wonderful, the customer service was superior to any hotel that we have stayed in, in the Anaheim area. So much so that my husband and I are coming back for our anniversary in June and aren't even looking at any other hotel.
Clean and comfy rooms
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and I wouldn't stay there again. The customer service was severely lacking. The bell boys didn't help unload or load our car or offer a cart for our bags. They didn't hold doors open for us when coming back from Disneyland. The bathroom is uncomfortably small. The room was great otherwise. The bed was comfy and was always clean when we got back.
Comfy beds, very friendly workers, loved the shuttle, clean, happy trip!!
I loved everything about this Hotel! Clean, helpful, comfortable. We will definatly stay here again next time we travel to Disneyland!! :)
We totally loved this hotel
OMG! This hotel is beautiful! It’s very spacious and relaxing. The kids loved all the different fish in the aquarium when you walk into the lobby! One night we were done with Disneyland, the kids weren’t ready to go to bed, so they went and played some games in the arcade room for a while. We also liked the free shuttle to Disneyland.
