I love this property and feel like it has one of the most fun and unique themes of any Disney resort. The pool area is an absolute blast! They did a great job of making the resort fun but also classy! The dining options at the Boardwalk cannot be beat!

I love the location of this Deluxe resort - easy walking distance to several other Deluxe resorts (which made for many great dining options) as well as Epcot theme park. We loved taking the Water taxi over to Hollywood Studios as well (we technically could have walked to Hollywood Studios, but it was further than I prefer - about 15 minutes). I really enjoyed the Club Lounge at this resort. It has beautiful views of the Lake and is a nice quiet place to relax in some quiet and enjoy some cold drinks and snacks. This resort hotel had lots of great activities and things to do/enjoy right at the hotel: the surrey bike rentals, pool games, campfire activities, movies under the stars, and even a few carnival games for the kids. The only reason I didn’t do a 5 star rating is due to the tired rooms. They’re still classy feeling, but the bedding and furnishing and carpets could use a refresh.

There is so much to love about this Resort! We got to stay in a newly refurbished room and we LOVED it. It was so fresh and we loved the theming. The Resort is going through a refreshening refurbishment right now, but we didn’t hear anything being done at night. We loved the pool. Enjoyed learning about the history behind this resort. Walking along the Boardwalk at night was a dream. They have lots of fabulous food options! Loved the location. We were within walking distance or a boat ride away from EPCOT. Also rode the boat or the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios. We also loved the Extended Evening Hour access to the parks on some nights. We would love to go back here.

I love so many things about this Resort! It has its own unique vibe. The rooms are charming and comfortable, the beds are the best. Most of the appeal comes from the location and the boardwalk. The boardwalk has so many restaurant options, including Flying Fish, one of the best fine dining experiences at Disney. There were also live performers on the boardwalk in the evening. My kids loved the surrey bike rentals. We also loved the dueling piano bar-JellyRolls. This is the closest Resort to Hollywood Studios. You can walk the path along the river, take a Friendship Boat, or use the EPCOT Skyliner station. EPCOT was also a short walk away. We visited during the Food and Wine Festival and this was so conveniently located.

While I like the Beach and Yacht club better, this hotel is also very conveniently located. The walk to Hollywood Studios isn’t bad and it’s super close to Epcot. It’s also easy to hop on the Skyliner and resort hop. We love to ride it over from the Epcot station over to the Riviera to eat! The updated theming to the pool is cute as well and the ambiance of the boardwalk itself is so fun in the evening with all of the performers and fun things to do.
