The Princess rooms at this resort have to be some of the most memorable of any I have ever seen. The grounds were absolutely stunning and I loved all of the Southern food options available at the Riverside Mill Food Court!

This is the cutest Resort that completely captures the slowed-down / laid-back Southern New Orleans vibe. I Loved the section of the hotel with the Princess themed rooms. These Princess rooms were Adorable and a Dream come true for any little princess :) Attention to details: from the “welcome Letter” from the princesses welcoming you to your special stay in their special room, to the Golden Genie’s lamp bathroom sinks, to the light-up Headboards on the beds (which we would use as the funnest-night-light ever) - Disney didn’t miss a detail of fun on this Royal Princess room! The food in the Food Court was amazing too - I’d recommend the Shrimp and Grits along with a Mickey-Mouse inspired cheesecake dessert (Everything was delicious!) Fun resort style pool with a waterslide as well.

There is so much to love about this Resort! The buildings and grounds are beautiful. The grounds and river are very calming for me. The cast members are so friendly! They always greeted us with a smile on their face. We ate at Boatwright’s Dining Hall and they had the best cornbread! We also enjoyed eating at their quick service restaurant, Riverside Mill Food Court. They have great food! Being able to ride the ferryboat down to Disney Springs was also a highlight. Keep in mind that this Resort does have a few bus stops to take you to the Parks from. Ask the front desk which bus stop is closest to your room and if they know the order of pickup for the bus stops in the morning. Just so you can see if you want to go to the bus stop that gets picked up 1st or 2nd in the morning. I would love to stay in one of their Royal Guest Rooms someday! Their princess rooms look so cute!

This Resort is so beautiful and peaceful! It’s perfect for a family or a romantic couples getaway. My family enjoyed a carriage ride around the property and my son loved the Fishing Hole. We had easy access to Disney Springs on the ferry and we never waited too long for a shuttle to get to the theme parks. The rooms are motel style with exterior entries. The design of the building is so fun, with some looking like southern mansions. I really enjoyed our meal at Boatwrights, the Mardi Gras Fritters and Boudin Balls were SO good!

For me, the grounds for this hotel is what makes it so amazing. There are so many pros to this resort and so many fun things to do. There is a boat you can take to Disney Springs that is so fun to do any time of day. There are also fun activities to do like fishing and carriage rides around the grounds past the river. It is such a calm environment and I love it. The food is also amazing and feels like it comes straight out of New Orleans.

If you are a fan of New Orleans, or even New Orleans Square in Disneyland, this is the hotel for you. You feel transported to the bayou. The resort is sprawling, and I absolutely loved the mansion area of the hotel. The princess rooms are SO darling. I wish they slept five, but what can you do?
