Sandals Whitehouse: Out of all of the Sandals Resorts in Jamaica, this is my favorite. It is tucked away on a 500-acre nature preserve, miles away from any hustle and bustle. The sprawling resort features four swimming pools - two with swim-up bars, seven restaurants, a full-service spa and even suites with butler service.

Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa: Located in the heart of Orange County on eight miles of sandy beach, the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach is an ultimate romantic getaway. It is the only hotel in Huntington Beach with a pedestrian walkway to the beach and it features a full-service spa. All of their gorgeous guestrooms have a patio or balcony and I love their pools, hot tubs, fire pits and fountains throughout the property.

The Cassara Carlsbad, Tapestry Collection by Hilton: Set perched above the ocean and overlooking Carlsbad's famous flower fields (seasonally), the Grand Pacific Palisades is an ideal romantic vacation destination. Their adults only Olympic sized swimming pool area has three hydro-spas and plenty of space to spread out and lounge. Their rooms are comfortable and have a microwave and fridge for added convenience.

Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa: Another Carlsbad favorite, the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort is home to stunning views, a world-class spa, a 24-hour heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, and so much more. It is within walking distance to the Crossings at Carlsbad Golf Course and LEGOLAND, but you'd never know it from the peaceful surroundings.

Sandals Grande Antigua: We're not the only ones who think this resort is romantic, it is continuously voted "World's Most Romantic Resort."
