Tickets for the Disneyland 70th Anniversary

Did you know that Disneyland still requires theme park reservations for anyone visiting Disneyland or Disney California Adventure?

1. During the initial kick off of “Celebrate Happy” (also known as the 70th Anniversary), we expect Disneyland reservations to fill up quickly. That’s why we recommend getting your tickets as early as possible.

At Get Away Today, you can get your discount tickets now and if a better deal comes along, just give us a call and we can make the adjustment for you.

2. Choose Hopper Tickets for the ultimate flexibility—you’ll want to experience all Disneyland has to offer at both parks. Some entertainment options will only be available on select days or nights. Having Hopper Tickets allows you to “hop” back and forth between the two parks each day during your trip.

3. Pre-purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and lock in the lowest prices available. That’s right, when you buy your discounted tickets with us, you can also add on Lightning Lane Multi Pass at a fixed price. This will make things much easier once you get into the parks, and you won’t be subject to dynamic pricing the day-of.

4. The 70th Anniversary celebration doesn’t have to end when you return to your hotel each night. In fact, the entire Disneyland Resort will sparkle with limited-time, colorful décor. This includes the three on-property hotels:

Not only will you be steps away from the parks, you’ll also enjoy Early Entry—only available to Disneyland Resort hotel guests. It’s an extra 30 minutes of ride time before regular guests can enter the parks. We love taking advantage of this exclusive access whenever we stay on property.

And don’t worry, if a Disney property isn’t for you this time, we have tons of Anaheim hotel partners ready to welcome you for the celebration. We’ve negotiated specials like 4th or 5th night free, special perks and discounts and rates you often can’t even get when booking direct.

6. World of Color Happiness!” debuts at Disney California Adventure Park and is a show you won’t want to miss. Viewing is available through the Virtual Queue and dining packages like the World of Color Dessert Party.

Disney shares:
This nighttime spectacular will explore “happy” through a kaleidoscope of emotions, hosted by Joy and the other Emotions from the hit Pixar Animation Studios films, “Inside Out” and “Inside Out 2.” Along the way, the Emotions manifest music and moments from favorite Walt Disney Animation Studios’ and Pixar Animation Studios’ stories, including “Turning Red,” “A Goofy Movie,” “Tangled,” “The Lion King” and so many more.

7. Paint the Night is back and we couldn’t be more thrilled! This parade has been a favorite of guests for years and everyone has been asking, “when can we do this again?” Paint the Night is a spectacular light parade that everyone is sure to love.

8. Wondrous Journeys returns to Disneyland Park. This projection show (enhanced with fireworks on select nights) became an instant classic during Disney100. The show features state-of-the-art projection effects that transform Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, “it’s a small world” and the Rivers of America.

9. In the evenings at California Adventure, the exterior of Carthay Circle Restaurant will invite everyone to “celebrate happy” during a special moment filled with music, lights and projection effects.

10. At Disneyland, the facade of “it’s a small world” will also get a new projection show.
