UPDATED JUNE 2024. Here at Get Away Today we love exploring all Walt Disney World has to offer. From four headlining theme parks, two splash-tastic water parks, an entertainment district and more than 25 Walt Disney World Resort hotels, we have done it all!
In this review we’re taking a closer look at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. You won’t believe you’re just a short boat ride away from all the bustle of the theme parks when you get your first picturesque view of Wilderness Lodge.
The Deluxe property brings to life America’s rugged beauty, patterned after famed National Parks like Yellowstone, Yosemite and Sequoia.

Each of these are located on the main Wilderness Lodge property and share amenities like swimming pools, waterslides and outdoor recreation.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Dining
Now it’s time for one of the best parts of our Disney’s Wilderness Lodge review; the dining! You can enjoy every mealtime at Wilderness Lodge with award-winning food and the Disney Dining Plan.
On arrival day you might consider Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. This character meal introduces guests to Snow White, Dopey and Grumpy every evening while dining in a rustic setting, inspired by the Disney film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Beware, The Queen might even make an appearance!
Another table service option for the whole family is Whispering Canyon Cafe. This Old Western eatery is full of giddy-up good times, good eatin’ and colorfully named Cast Members who have a reputation for sassing customers. It’s a Get Away Today favorite!
Other dining options include:
- Geyser Point Bar & Grill
- Roaring Fork
