Answer: When you visit the Walt Disney World Resort, you need a free My Disney Experience account. This is your online hub for keeping track of all the different elements of your vacation. If you’re familiar with the official Disneyland app, it’s similar to that.

Question: Do I need MagicBands for my vacations?

Answer: The add-on experiences in your My Disney Experience account sync up with Disney Magic Bands. MagicBands are the wearable devices that give you electronic access to Walt Disney World. These can serve as electronic theme park admission, can be used to access Lightning Lanes and can even be used to enter your Walt Disney World Resort hotel and make purchases. Disney MagicBands are not required, and can be added onto your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Question: What is Lightning Lane?

Answer: You've probably noticed numerous mentions of Lightning Lane during your vacation planning. Lightning Lanes allow guests to experience select rides and attractions via a shorter line, similar to the old FastPass+.
