There are many beverages at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that are so delicious, they most certainly have been crafted by magic. The thematic drinks are straight from the pages of the famous Harry Potter books and flims. So, experiencing them for the first time is kind of like traveling to a dark corner table of the Leaky Cauldron Tavern or to the grand Main Hall at Hogwarts Castle. It's quite the trip.

One of the most popular drinks served at The Three Broomsticks at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood is the Pumpkin Juice. It is sometimes ranked even higher on the muggle taste scale than Butterbeer. So, you know it is good. It reminds me of traditional spiced wassail but with a slight pumpkin twist. I can imagine witches and wizards drinking it warm on dark drafty nights or chilled as a refreshing spiced beverage after a good Quidditch match.    

 

 

I scoured the internet reviewing recipes, reading reviews, and swapping out ingredients to find the perfect Harry Potter pumpkin juice copycat recipe to match the brew that is served at Universal Studios. 2 cups (16 oz) Apple Cider 

1/2 cup Peach Nectar

1/2 cup Pear Nectar

6 Tbs Pumpkin Puree

1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Dash of Nutmeg

 

Put all of the ingredients into a blender. Mix until they are combined well. 

 

 

I found this awesome Apple Ginger juice at the grocery store that was perfect for this recipe. The addition of the ginger was really quite tasty. If you can find something like this, I suggest giving it a go! If not, the Simply Apple juice in the refrigerated section is a perfect substitution.

 

 

It took me awhile to find nectar at the grocery store. These cans were located by the juice. I could only find them in the can form. It was ok though, because you don't need very much for the recipe.  

 

 

Pumpkin Pie spice smells amazing when you open the lid. It is like opening up a perfect Fall day. Combine it with the cinnamon and nutmeg for spice perfection. 

 

 

Regular pumpkin puree is perfect for this recipe. You can use the leftovers to make a batch of pumpkin chocolate chip muffins! They would pair perfectly with the Pumpkin Juice.

 

 

It only takes a few seconds to blend the pumpkin into the liquids. Chill the juice in the fridge until it is nice and cold. Shake before serving and enjoy.
