- Rooms that sleep 5 or more
- Free transportation around the entire resort
- First dibs at Individual Lightning Lanes (more rides, less time!)

All the Walt Disney World Hotel Options
Yes, it’s true there are more than 25 hotels on property to choose from. And yes, it’s true our team has stayed at or toured each property multiple times over. We know the resorts inside and out and if you ever have a question about one, our team is just a phone call away.
With more than 25 to choose from, you might already be overwhelmed. But we’re here to make the decision easier which is why we’ve broken down all the Disney World Resort hotels into their categories: value, moderate and deluxe.
- Deluxe Resorts, including the Deluxe Villas that sleep 5+ guests
- Moderate Resorts, including Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside
- Value Resorts, including Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Free Walt Disney World Transportation
The sprawling Walt Disney World Resort is bigger than some cities or towns, and is certainly one of the biggest theme park resorts in the world.
But once you’re on property it is easy to get from one place to another and each one is all about fun! There are four main ways most guests travel from their hotel to any theme park at Walt Disney World:
- Disney World Monorail above the parks
- Walt Disney World Skyliner high in the sky
- Disney World Bus Shuttle direct routes
- Walt Disney World Ferries via waterways
More Rides When Staying On Property
Now this one is not a guarantee because it does require effort from you and your group—but staying on property gives you multiple opportunities to ride more attractions, wait less for favorite rides and experience fewer crowds while doing so.
Here’s how you can ride more when you stay at a Disney World Resort hotel:
- First dibs at Individual Lightning Lanes. On property guests may begin booking à la carte Lightning Lane arrival windows at 7:00 am ET on the day of their park visit. But all other Guests must wait until the parks open. This is a huge time savings perk! You can read all about Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane options here.
- Early Theme Park Entry means no sleeping in, but you’ll be more than happy you got up to skip longer wait times later in the day. Guests of Disney Resort hotels can get a 30-minute jump on their Disney day with early theme park entry—available at all 4 Walt Disney World theme parks. It’s amazing what you can do in a short time if you plan it right!
- Extended Evening Hours. Now this one is included only for Deluxe hotel guests, so if you have some night owls in your group it could be worth pricing out the cost of upgrading to a Deluxe property just to enjoy this perk.
Free Water Park Admission in 2025
We’re already looking ahead to future Walt Disney World vacations because in 2025, guests of on property hotels will get one day of free admission to either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach on their day of check-in.
This is in addition to the already amazing waterpark-like perks you get with the pool at your Disney World Resort hotel!
There truly are so many reasons to stay on property and we didn’t even mention that feeling of staying inside the “Disney bubble.” If you’re ready to book your Walt Disney World vacation, you can find all of our packages online or speak to one of our agents by calling 855 GET AWAY.
