At Get Away Today, we know how important your vacation is. These trips are about time together, meaningful memories, and experiences you may have been looking forward to for months or even years. Our goal is to make planning your vacation as simple, transparent and stress-free as possible, while also providing flexibility and support if plans change along the way.
We believe in clear, upfront pricing and helping you feel confident in your decisions. Get Away Today does not charge booking fees, and we work with trusted travel providers including Disney, Universal and other leading destinations to offer competitive pricing along with the added support of our vacation experts. Our team is also here to advocate for you whenever possible, so you have guidance before, during and after your trip.
The information below explains how reservations, payments, changes and cancellations work so you know exactly what to expect before you travel. By completing a reservation, you agree to the terms outlined below and to our full Terms and Conditions Policy available at https://www.getawaytoday.com/terms-and-conditions.
Booking and Travel Documents
All travel documents will be delivered electronically to the email address provided at the time of booking so you can easily access them whenever you need. To make sure you receive important updates about your vacation, please confirm that your contact information is accurate at the time of booking. If you ever need to update your email address, our team is always happy to help.
Some hotel amenities such as roll-away beds, parking, resort fees, and other incidental charges may not be included in your package unless specifically noted. These charges, if applicable, are payable directly to the hotel at check-in or during your stay.
Get Away Today does not charge booking fees. We believe in transparent pricing and want you to feel confident about the value you are receiving. While our pricing is competitive, promotions, availability, and certain supplier-imposed fees are determined by our travel partners and may change without notice.
Refunds, Changes, Cancellations and the Peace of Mind Plan
We understand that flexibility matters when planning a vacation. For guests who want the greatest level of confidence and flexibility when booking, we offer our optional Peace of Mind Plan. This plan is designed to remove Get Away Today change and cancellation fees and make it easier to adjust your reservation if plans change.
- For a one-time fee of $99 per room, the Peace of Mind Plan allows unlimited reservation changes without being subject to Get Away Today change, reschedule or cancellation fees.
- The Peace of Mind Plan is valid for one year from the original booking date. Supplier-imposed penalties, including hotel cancellation windows listed below, still apply.
- If the Peace of Mind Plan was not added to your reservation, Get Away Today change and cancellation fees may apply in addition to any supplier-imposed penalties. A $150 fee will be charged to process changes to an existing reservation, and a $250 fee per hotel package will apply to cancellations outside applicable supplier cancellation windows. Changes to attraction vouchers are subject to a non-refundable $50 processing fee.
- Reservations made within 72 hours of travel are subject to supplier restrictions and may be non-refundable or subject to penalties. When possible, our team will work with our partners to seek flexibility. However, changes or refunds are not guaranteed.
- For reservations made more than 72 hours prior to travel, cancellations or changes must be requested at least 72 hours before the scheduled check-in date unless otherwise noted below. Requests made inside 72 hours of check-in may result in a charge equal to one night’s stay or other supplier-imposed penalties.
Hotel-Specific Cancellation Windows
While many reservations follow a standard 72-hour cancellation window, certain hotel properties require additional advance notice. Cancellations made inside these required timeframes may result in a charge equal to the first night’s stay or other supplier-imposed penalties.
- A 5-day cancellation notice is required for all DISNEYLAND® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort hotels.
- A 7-day cancellation notice is required for LEGOLAND® Hotel and LEGOLAND® Castle Hotel in California and for all Universal Orlando Resort properties.
- A 21-day cancellation notice is required for all LEGOLAND® Florida hotels.
All vacation packages are refundable outside of the applicable cancellation windows outlined above and subject to the fees described.
Tickets and Attraction Vouchers
Theme park tickets are an important part of your vacation, and we want you to feel confident about how they work.
Standard Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort theme park tickets retain the value originally paid if unused, even after the expiration date listed on the ticket has passed. If your plans change, the amount paid for those tickets may be applied toward the purchase of a new ticket directly through Disney, subject to Disney’s current pricing and policies.
Tickets for other destinations, including Universal and select partner attractions, must be used by the expiration date listed on the voucher. Many promotional tickets, specially ticketed events, seasonal offerings and limited-time experiences have specific usage windows. Once those windows have passed, those tickets may no longer be valid.
All tickets and attraction vouchers are subject to the terms and expiration details provided by the issuing partner. Ticket features, promotional offers, special events, age ranges, attractions, services and entertainment may be seasonal and are subject to change without notice.
Layaway Plans
Our Layaway Plan is designed to provide added flexibility when planning your vacation. This option allows you to secure your reservation and make payments over time rather than paying in full at the time of booking.
A one-time Layaway Plan fee of $99 per reservation applies and provides the ability to make flexible payments toward your balance up until 9 days prior to your scheduled travel date. All balances must be paid in full no later than 9 days before travel.
If we receive advance notice from a supplier that ticket prices are increasing before your Layaway Plan is paid in full, you will have the opportunity to pay the remaining balance to secure your current pricing prior to the increase taking effect.
While we always do our best to monitor pricing changes, suppliers may occasionally increase pricing without advance notice. If a price increase occurs before your reservation is paid in full, updated pricing may apply and your package will reflect the current rates at the time of final payment.

Liability and Travel Conditions
Get Away Today acts as an intermediary between you and the travel suppliers providing transportation, accommodations and attractions. While we partner with trusted providers and advocate for our guests whenever possible, travel services are ultimately delivered by third-party suppliers. Get Away Today is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage arising from services provided by those suppliers.
Get Away Today is not responsible for refunds related to park closures, schedule changes or interruptions caused by weather, natural disasters, acts of war, civil disturbances, government actions or any other circumstances beyond our control.
Travel involves inherent risks. Get Away Today cannot prevent exposure to illness, including COVID-19, while utilizing travel services. By booking travel, you acknowledge these inherent risks and agree that Get Away Today and its representatives are not liable for claims related to exposure, infection, illness, injury or related damages arising from travel.
Currency and International Purchases
If you purchase a vacation package or attraction tickets in a currency other than USD, refunds will be processed using the current exchange rate at the time of refund, not the rate at the time of booking. Get Away Today is not responsible for fluctuations in currency exchange rates. Currency conversion fees are non-refundable.
Communication Consent
By completing your reservation, you consent to receive transactional communications related to your booking, including email confirmations, travel reminders and itinerary updates.
If you choose to provide your mobile phone number, you also consent to receive travel-related text messages such as booking confirmations, itinerary changes and important travel notifications. Message frequency may vary. Standard messaging and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by following the instructions in the message or by contacting Get Away Today directly.
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Airfare (If Applicable)
In the limited circumstances where airfare is arranged through Get Away Today, airline tickets are non-refundable and name changes are not permitted unless otherwise stated by the airline. Flight schedules, policies and change fees are controlled by the air carrier and are subject to change without notice.
Travelers are responsible for confirming flight times directly with the airline prior to departure and for arriving at the airport with sufficient time to complete security procedures. Government-issued identification is required for all travelers.
Any date or time changes are subject to airline-imposed fees and applicable fare differences. Get Away Today acts solely as an intermediary for airline bookings.
