Customer Reviews (93)
Highly Recommend
Hotel was clean, nice big rooms. Good breakfast and close to Disneyland. Would highly recommend.
Our "go-to" hotel
We stayed at the Desert Palm multiple times. This is our “go to” hotel. We like the variety of the room size selections. Rooms are clean and the front desk staff is very friendly. The location is really close to the parks with Starbucks and CVS right across the street to get snacks and water. They have a complementary breakfast that is solid.
Good breakfast and distance from the park
Close and easy walk to the park. Great space for breakfast. Very safe and secure.
Great hotel!
Our stay was great! Everyday we had new towels and the contention breakfast was good.
Clean and close to Disney
Friendly, accommodating staff. Clean and comfortable rooms and common areas. Complementary breakfasts were very good. Walkable distance to Disney parks
Definitely will stay here again!
Loved the staff at desert palms, very helpful and friendly. I accidentally threw away my gift cards and didn’t realize it till I was already at the parks, called the hotel and they were nice enough to check the trashes and thankfully they found them and held them till I arrived later that evening. Rooms were very clean. Definitely would recommend this place to family and friends, and I’ll definitely be staying here again.
A good, close option
It is a decent hotel. Not super clean but not dirty. Breakfast was pretty good. The gym doesn’t open until 6am. Which is tricky if you want to work out before leaving for Disney around 7. The walk is less than 10 mins and is so easy with no streets to cross! Loved that.
Pleasantly Surprised!
We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and cleanliness of this hotel. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating.
Nice staff but room was loud
Staff was great. The bed was good but pillows were awful. The breakfast was good. We had a corner room that faced the road. The windows were definitely single pane which meant no sound barrier. We could hear every car speeding by as if we were standing on the sidewalk.
Great stay
This was a great hotel overall. The only negative was an extremely loud two bedroom suite we opted to upgrade into. It was located behind a rental car facility which was active all night and had loud alarms going off multiple times throughout the night. Also, the road noise was extremely loud so sound dampening windows need to be installed.
Plesantly Surprised
We were plesantly surprised with all aspects of the hotel. Even the free breakfast was better than expected according to the reviews. Would definitely stay again in the future. We had a few problems with the ART shuttle but not the hotel's fault.
So nice!
Great hotel! Very friendly service. The buffet breakfast was tasty and the breakfast area was very spacious. The shower pressure was amazing! Beds were very comfy as well as the sofa sleeper. Will stay here again!
Great stay
We stayed at the Desert Palms because it had the room size we needed and is within walking distance of Disneyland. The customer service and breakfast leave a lot to be desired, but we would probably stay again because of the room size and price point (although their are upcharges for early and late checkout if they are even available).
Great hotel and location!
This hotel was fine for our needs. It was close enough to walk to Disney. We easily walked in the morning and after a long day at the parks. I would say it was a block and a half. We felt perfectly safe walking, there were always other Disney goers out, so we were never alone. If you wanted to take the ART, the hotel is on the route. We just felt it would take longer to take the bus than to walk. Breakfast was fine: Waffle bar, hot foods with an egg omelet, cereal and muffins, toast, coffee and juices, etc. Typical free hotel breakfast. The room was adequate. It was clean and we were so tired each night, we slept just fine. Our window overlooked a cement wall and the parking lot, so that wasn't great, but we were never really in our room anyway. It is a hotel with lots of Disney guests, so yes, that means lots of little kids...which equals noise. It was nothing we couldn't live with. Hotel staff was always nice and helpful. The only negative I have was the $40.95 early check in fee...even though the room was ready. We could've left our luggage at the front desk and went to the parks, but felt better leaving in the room. It was a fine stay and if you are looking for a free breakfast, no frills hotel, this hotel is just fine. (Walgreens and CVC across the street and a 7-11 next door)
Friendly Staff!
The size of the rooms was impressive especially for the price I paid. Staff was helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable. The room was in great shape. It is in a great location to the resort. I loved it!
Perfect Place
Great hotel, free breakfast, short walk to disneyland. Perfect for disney trips with toddlers
Not impressed.
Reception desk personnel not helpful. Called in the morning to have sheets changed on two separate days. Came back from Disneyland and sheets were not changed on both occasions. Got back with our Granddaughters and couldn’t but them to bed until we received the sheets and then we had to change them ourselves. Breakfast buffet is boring. Some food everyday.
I would recommend but with qualifiers.
I would recommend but with qualifiers. The location is amazing, hot breakfast is included but it’s was nothing special. The hotel has a weird layout. We were on 2nd floor (even though we had requested a higher floor). To get to 2nd floor you have to use a separate elevator and breakfast in on the 5th floor which cannot be accessed from the elevator that gets you to the 2nd floor. You must take 2 or stairs to get to a floor that has an elevator going to 5. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Pros and Cons
Pro: The hotel is close to the parks and a very short walk. Closest hotel with suites that include a full kitchen. CVS across the street was convenient. The room was comfortable and the staff was really friendly. The pool was clean and relaxing. Cons: Noise from the street kept me up at night. I had to wear ear plugs. The breakfast options were few, and not much that a person with food allergies could work with.
Cleanest and Friendliest
This was our first time at this hotel and I’m glad we stayed here. Of all the hotels we have stayed at near Disneyland this one was by far the cleanest and friendliest we’ve been to. I was nervous about the distance to the park but it was an easy walk there and back. The only negative thing about it was the breakfast didn’t have a lot of variety.
Great location but small rooms
The positive: the employees we had interaction with were great. The location to Disneyland was great. The breakfast was good and the attendants were wonderful. The not so great: The breakfast room is small and VERY crowded. The WiFi is terrible! The towels were very strange--not at all absorbent and therefore, pretty useless.
We'd stay again!
It was a good hotel and fairly close to the parks! I think it took us about 10 minutes to walk in. The breakfast wasn't anything special but it was nice to have! We'd stay again!
We will not be back
The hotel staff was not very friendly and I felt like I was inconveniencing them every time I had a question. They upcharge you $35 to check in early (even though the room was ready) so we opted to just wait until we were done with the park that day. I went to check in at 11pm and there were four workers all standing being the desk. They were gossiping about something and rather than helping me, they said they would be right with me. So we had to stand and wait until their conversation was over to be checked In. We have stayed at many hotels near Disneyland and loved all of them. This one was very disappointing. From the unfriendly staff to the paper thin walls, we were not impressed. I’m a heavy sleeper and woke up multiple times a night to the high traffic, our neighbors alarm clock every morning, and the musty smell in the room didn’t help either. Save your money and book a hotel that is similarly priced, but closer in walking distance. We will not be back to this hotel.
Nice clean hotel
Nice clean hotel. But they could change their breakfast to have a little more of a selection.
Super friendly staff
Super friendly staff, very helpful with information. Walk to Disneyland gates was accurate, roughly 1/2 mile away.
Clean and accommodating
The hotel was both clean and accommodating. We loved how close it was to Disneyland
We loved everything about this hotel!
We loved everything about this hotel! Great location to DL entrance, wonderful/kind staff and good breakfast selection.
Very nice
Very nice room and the breakfast was very good each morning.
Hotel was great
The hotel itself was great. My only complaint was the trash was not always taken out daily. I know they have stopped full cleaning as covid procedures but it would have been helpful to have it cleaned at least one full clean without having to ask. That being said, guest service was very helpful and prompt with any requests we had.
Will gladly stay there again
A very clean well appointed hotel with a great staff very nice pool and very close to the gate. Close proximity to the Anaheim Garden Walk which is superb and parking was very easily accessed and sercure A wonderful stay all around. Great breakfast The 24 hour self service concience store was great Will gladly stay there again
Really good value for your money
Really good value for your money. Rooms were clean & quiet. The breakfast staff worked hard to make it clean & ready to go each morning and the food was enough to get you going for the day.
This hotel is fantastic!
This hotel is fantastic! We loved that the room could easily fit six people and everyone had a bed. It is so nice to have the hot breakfast in the morning. The breakfast opens at 6:30 so we were able to eat and walk to the park and get there before rope drop. It is within walking distance of the park. We thought we might want to get shuttle passes. However, it was faster to walk than to wait for the shuttle.
Great central location
About a 15 minute walk from Disney. Continental breakfast is fine if you don’t mind being crowded while you eat. Great central location , tons of food nearby. They also offer room service amenities.
Great Location
This was our first time staying here, we thought it was great, we'd totally stay here again! The staff was awesome! Rooms were clean, bed was comfy, AC in the room worked great (very nice after a long day at the parks)! The breakfast was good, a basic hotel hot breakfast. Total walk time from our room, getting through security and to the front gate was about 15 minutes. Across the street from the CVS and Walgreens if you forgot any essentials. The hotel is also next to a 7-11, but if you don't want to leave the hotel, there is a little "store" next to the front desk with drinks and snacks.
We would stay here again and would recommend to others
Check in began at 3pm. We arrived at 325pm. They told us our room wouldn't be ready for another hour and that they would call. We drove around for a bit and came back at 5pm. Still hadn't received a call by then. It was already a long day and all we wanted to do was check in and relax. Hotel itself was nice. Our room had a king bed and bunk bed. The room was clean and big enough for our needs. Breakfast was your basic scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffle maker, dry cereal, oatmeal, juice and coffee. It held us over for a while at Disneyland. Nice small quick bite restaurant and a store with your basic needs and snacks. We would stay here again and would recommend to others. The check- in was really the only problem.
Location was perfect!
Location was perfect! Walked to Disneyland everyday to avoid the parking fees and traffic! Rooms were clean and hotel personnel were friendly and helpful.
We would stay again!
This hotel is conveniently located to the theme park. Check in was a breeze, rooms are nice and open. The hotel restaurant was a life saver for late night snacks. Parking can be a little difficult to find but there is a basement level. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast early enough for rope droppers. All in all, we would stay again!
Location is Perfect
The location is perfect. Short walk to the main entrance. Only down side is that it’s next to a 7-11 where the homeless hung out. And we encountered someone urinating right out in the public eye. Besides that it’s a great hotel. And we will definitely stay there again.
Best Option in My Price Range
After learning that the ART busses are not as great as they used to be I was determined to find a hotel with complimentary breakfast and within walking distance of the parks (a must for our kids that need naps.) Desert Palms was the best option in my price range and we were very happy with our vacation. It was about a 10 min. walk to the park when stopping at the light. The wide, clean, and shaded walkway made it super easy. The breakfast wasn't the best of the best but it was good enough to fill us before heading to the parks. We had waffles, eggs and cereal every day. I requested a crib and it was in the room ready to go when we got there which was very nice! Beds were good. Staff was friendly. Parking lot was underground which was nice to have a cool car to come too when we needed it. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this hotel as it is a little older than others surrounding it. We never heard people to the sides of our room, only above but not the hotels fault. I've never been disappointed in a hotel that GET AWAY TODAY recommends, so all in all I would happily stay here again as it was super convenient and we had no complaints. This is the 3rd hotel close to the parks that we've stayed at booking with GAT so in terms of rating it I can compare with those. I'd say it is nicer than the Clarion but not as good as The Ayres Hotel Orange. But in terms of convenience to the parks it wins!
Great location.
Great location. Walking to the parks was maybe 10 minutes. Continental breakfast was good, maybe could use more variety on things you could just grab and go like whole fruit or bagels. There were transient people outside the hotel, only once that made us nervous by behavior. They aren't doing any kind of room services due to covid. One day we came back from the park to find our door was left open by room service (bringing towels) and didn't pull our door shut all the way.
It was a great stay
It was a great stay, complimentary breakfast was good, not much selection but overall it helped me get my day started. The walls were thin though so I could here footsteps and people in the room next to me.
The bunk bed room is awesome for kids
The bunk bed room is awesome for kids. They get to have their own space and tv. My only complaint is that the hotel does not offer a shuttle. Yes it is technically within walking distance but after walking all day the walk back is too far. Especially for kids.
Exceptional
The staff and property were exceptional. Every staff member we encountered from the moment we checked in was eager to help in any way. The property was very clean and the rooms were spotless. We loved the breakfast offerings, and the view from the rooftop patio.
Great value!
Can’t beat a hot breakfast every morning before going to the Disneyland parks!! Great value!
I couldn't have asked for a better hotel especially for the price!
This hotel is very clean, rooms are really cute and the atmosphere is quiet. The breakfast is really pretty great too! The only thing that even makes me question staying here again is that the walk is just a little too much after you've been walking all day at the parks. Other than that, I couldn't have asked for a better hotel especially for the price!
Will probably never stay anywhere else again!
Every interaction with the staff was warm and welcoming. The hotel was clean and quiet, and so close to Disneyland. We have found our new place to stay, and will probably never stay anywhere else again!
Our new favorite place to stay!
Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. First, every interaction we had with the staff was delightful-- from the front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast attendants, and even the pool maintenance guy who generously let us soak our aching feet just a few more minutes in the hot tub each night. Everyone was so kind and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Second, the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for us, our kids, even our stroller! We never felt cramped or crowded in our room. Third: heated pool and hot tub. We've visited Disneyland multiple times in the off-season, hoping to avoid crowds. But every hotel we've stayed at previously had their pool closed. The kids loved playing in the pool in the evenings, and the adults loved relaxing in the hot tub. Fourth, this hotel is SO CLOSE to Disneyland... In fact, you can see many of the California adventure rides & attractions from the right rooms, or the breakfast room on the top floor. Speaking of breakfast, it was fantastic every morning. Eggs, biscuits & gravy, potatoes, sausage, waffles, etc. It was all delicious. Desert palms is our new home-away-from-home when we visit Disneyland. As long as they keep it up, we'll keep coming back!
Perfect for my family of 5
The family suite was perfect for my family of 5. There was plenty of room, beds were comfortable. Access to room, elevator, and breakfast was easy. Customer service was great. Distance from hotel to the parks was not far at all.
Only one problem
The only problem was a hot water issue. We had to let the water run 20 minutes before it got hot.
We love Desert Palms Hotel and Suites!
We love Desert Palms Hotel and Suites! Great rooms with different suite options that are all good. We love the location for walking to the park. The staff is wonderful. Oh, and they have a great breakfast too!
Kind and welcoming but bare bones
The hotel staff were very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was pretty decent - lots of options and well stocked. However, the lights in one of our rooms didn’t work and the hotel was pretty bare bones for the amount we paid.
Great stay!
We loved this hotel! We got the room with the bunk beds and it worked out so perfectly. Our kids usually sleep horribly in hotels but they slept so great here having their own space and comfy beds. The walk to Disneyland was so easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again! Only 2 small downsides… the hotel was quiet except for the doors! Every time someone came/went from their room, the slamming doors woke us up. And the water pressure in the shower was bad. Neither of those things are a deal breaker, just little gripes. But overall, excellent especially for the price!
Worth the money!
This hotel is very reasonable & worth the money. Incredibly nice and helpful employees who go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and pleasant. It’s a short distance from Disneyland which is nice.
Love this hotel
I absolutely love this hotel. Breakfast is good, staff is super friendly, everything was clean.
Very spacious
Very spacious
Great hotel overall
Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. Easy walk to and from the park. Rooms are nice and roomy. Breakfast was good to start before you go to the parks. Good selection of food.
Will stay here again for our next trip.
Checking was quick and easy, no hassle. Staff were Friendly and Courteous. Rooms were clean. Complimentary Breakfast was Good. Within walking distance to Disneyland / California Adventures. Will definetly be booking this Hotel on our next trip.
We had a wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Desert Palms. Everything was clean and inviting. The breakfast was wonderful. Everything was delicious and refilled as needed. Every employee was friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next stay.
The hotel was great
The hotel was great. Just not a good location. It is further away from the park and the homeless population is a problem in that area
Wonderful staff and great breakfast
ALL staff was cheerful and helpful. The service staff in the breakfast room were so helpful. Everything clean, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful with many selections.
Good staff
Exceptional Service
Good choice
Very friendly and clean and next to Disneyland so we can walk there.
Always return here!
We have stayed here before and love it! The water pressure was weak this time, but it won’t stop us. We love this hotel.
Awesome Location!
We stayed here summer of 2019. The location was the driver for us booking here. We were able to walk to the park with our 8 year old twins. The hotel is very nice and kept up. The room we had was clean and up to date. The front desk was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We plan to book here again in the future.
Our favorite!
We have stayed here before and love it! The water pressure was weak this time, but it won’t stop us. We love this hotel.
Great hotel
Little details, like a place to hang jackets and enough towel hangers in the bathroom. Spacious rooms and great breakfasts. Only flaw is the light in the bathroom above the sink really sucks for putting on make-up and they don't have the stairs location marked at all. Big safety violation but really clean and nice. A+ to housekeeping.
Good breakfast and location
Wonderful breakfast area. Perfect for quick eats before heading out to the parks. Easy 10 minute walk to Disney. Room was spacious, and we enjoyed the stepdown living room area. View was nice with the Guardians of the Galaxy tower and Cars Land lit up at night. Also can see the fireworks if not in the park after a long day. Lobby was very welcoming with plenty of space. Hotel restaurant had great food and wonderful service. Would definitely stay here again.
Good location and breakfast
Nice hotel with a very good location. Walking to the main gates took less than 10 minutes each day. Plenty of stores nearby to grab quick things as well. Rooms were a little small, but had enough space for a family of 4 with the bunkbed room. Breakfast had something for everyone as well, and was nice to start the day with a warm breakfast. Would stay here again for sure.
10 Mins from Disneyland
Great location to Disneyland, a short 10 minute walk to the entrance. Only one street to cross, and it is not a busy street, only used by the Disney Shuttles.
Walking Distance!
We loved this hotel, it was walking distance from the park and the rooms were very nice, breakfast every morning was amazing. We will stay here again.
So close!
It was just 8 min to the turn in to the park and on the side of the road that you don't have to cross a lot of traffic
Loved the hotel
Great
Wonderful staff
We got a 1 bedroom suite and it was amazing. Plenty of room and the full kitchen and balcony was very cool even though we didn’t take full advantage of it. The room was very clean and well maintained, housekeeping did an excellent job and every staff member we dealt with was very nice and professional. The walk to Disneyland is a little longer than some hotels but for us was very worth it for the quality of the hotel and staff. Would highly recommend.
Our favorite hotel
This has always been our favorite hotel, always clean and plenty of room for us all! Amazing breakfast included!
Family Friendly
Great hotel for families. We walked to Disneyland and ate at the restaurant at the hotel. Very comfortable and convenient.
Nice breakfast
It was a nice, clean hotel. The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have the breakfast. Would have liked to have more counter space in the bathroom. I felt like it was a little overpriced.
Rooftop Breakfast!
Great location. Walking distance to Disney! Awesome rooftop breakfast daily. Different selections daily.
Five Minute Walk to Disneyland!
The breakfast is nice to get your day off without being hungry at Disneyland. The rooms and hotel are very clean. It is only a five minute walk to the park and fireworks can be seen from many of the rooms in the hotel. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times.
Great hotel close to the park!
My family loved this hotel. It was within walking distance to the park, and had a free breakfast each morning. The free breakfast helped save time and money, which was great. They have a restaurant onsite, that is really great too. The only thing I didn't love is the pool area is weird, the hotel is in a square shape, and the pool area is inside the little square. So it is an outdoor pool, but very closed in by all the walls of the hotel surrounding it.
Great Stay!
I loved my stay at this hotel and the breakfast was great! Super close to the park as well!
Free upgrade!
This was a very nice place to stay for a Disney trip. They upgraded us to family suite at no charge and the room was HUGE! It is a short walk to the gates and lots of places in walking distance for dinner on your way home from the park. The breakfast in the morning was nice so we could have a full stomach before heading into the park. I would stay here again for sure.
Great Hotel/Good Value
The hotel is nicely updated, has a clean and bright centralized pool and hot tub, and provides a great continental breakfast. The breakfast provides some variety each morning and is timed well with Disneyland park hours. We also liked that they have fruit infused water 24 hours a day in the lobby for guests. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.
Would stay again
The wifi was intermittently very slow, but otherwise everything was good. Staff was always very helpful. The free breakfast is typical hotel stuff, but they did change the hot food items every day, and kept everything full. Great location for the Disney parks.
Good staff, WiFi is the worst
Overall the hotel was good, but we had a couple issues. We booked the room with the bunk beds because there were 6 of us and that room says it can fit 6. However when we arrived we found out that the couch that folds out to fit two had been removed from all the bunk bed rooms and in order to fit 6 we would have to put 4 on the bunk beds. I don't know about you, but my kids don't like sharing beds. In stead we put two air mattresses on the floor. This used up a ton of floor space and made it difficult to get around in the room. Fortunately we spent most of our time outside of the hotel. In hind sight I would recommend you only put 4 people in the bunk bed rooms, and if you have more, you should book the two queens with the sitting area because that would fit 6 a lot more comfortably. The WiFi in this hotel was probably the worst I have ever experienced. I had to reload web pages several times before they would load and forget about downloading anything, the download would usually get cut off early and I would have to restart. I went to the front desk to see if they could do anything, they said they would reboot the router. I don't know if they did it or not because the WiFi never improved. I ended up having to use my cell phone as a hot spot because the hotel WiFi was so bad. If rebooting the router is the solution I suggest that the hotel automates this by putting a timer on each access point and have the timer turn off the access point for a couple minutes every night. The hotel staff was friendly, I don't have any complaints here. The breakfast was great, and it changed a little every morning. I options we saw were sausage and egg patties (good on a toasted english muffin), biscuits and country gravy (no sausage in gravy, and no sausage on the side to add to the gravy), scrambled eggs with and without sausage, omelets sometimes with cheese, sometimes with sausage. They also had doughnuts most days, and waffles and cold cereal everyday. The scrambled eggs with sausage usually followed the days with sausage and egg patties so I wonder if those were leftovers. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable, but the hot tub was foamy. Probably because people don't shower before getting in and all the soap and shampoo end up in the hot tub. Even though the hotel is near Disneyland there is really no good location to view the fireworks. I wish they had a balcony or something. We had to go up to the 5th floor and hold our hands to the windows in order to see the fireworks. I would stay here again if another hotel was not available, but book a different room, and bring a portable hot spot for WiFi.
Great Location, Friendly Staff
We really enjoyed this hotel! I first chose the 2 queen sofa bed room but decided later to change it to the king bed with kids bunk beds! Changing it was easy and quick! The kids loved the bunk beds, we loved the separate spaces. The room isn't huge but we made it work. We loved being close to Disneyland so we could walk and leave our car so we didn't have to pay for parking twice. The free breakfast was great! The staff was friendly. They would say "hi" or "welcome back' , "have a nice day". Upon check out I left my pillow in our room and the housekeeper ran it down to me from the 4th floor!! Talk about service! The room was clean and nice. The pool and hot tub were a welcome relief from the heat and bustle of park hopping all day! We will definitely recommend this place to others!
Good location
The hotel is in a good location; walking distance to Disneyland/California Adventure, restaurants, souvenir shopping and drug stores. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the room only had two small windows and even with all of the lights on it was very dark.
I will book here again.
We were in the L.A. area for a week, but only stayed at the D.P. for two nights, and I should've stayed here for all 6. They were having some new renovations done, which was not a problem. We got a new renovated room, which was nice. Good job on the work. I like the fact that there was a sofa bed in the room since there were 5 of us. Customer service was great. Breakfast was ok. Could be better, but it was free so can't complain. A free anything is good. I would give 5 stars, but there is always room for improvement.
Excellent value for families!
We stayed here for a week - all six of us - and I would highly recommend it. The only down side was that the suite we were in was slated for remodel....the day we left. If that had happened before we arrived, it would have made this a 5/5 review. We had the Sahara Kitchen suite and so were able to cook our own meals and have snacks to take to the park. The complimentary, full breakfast was a lifesaver - freshly made and changed up daily. There were eggs, bagels, fruit, yoghurt, do-it-yourself waffles, toast, doughnuts, juice and more. The walk was about 10 minute...depending how exhausted we were. All in all, we would definitely recommend this hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff and more.
Very friendly staff!!
We recently stayed at this property for our family spring break vacation and couldn't have been more pleased with everything. The staff was more than willing to help with anything we needed. The rooms were very nice and cleaned when we returned back every night. The breakfast was a great time and money saver every morning before our day at Disneyland. Location is perfect for young family's who want to come back for a break midday to relax before going back for the nighttime festivities in the park, just a short 8-10 minute walk to the front gate..... We will definitely stay here on our next trip to the happiest place on earth!!!
Loved it!
Hotel was clean and staff was great! The morning breakfast was Delicious! The food from the downstairs cafe was awful and elevators were a little scary but my family and I still enjoyed our stay!
I should have booked the Marriott like I had planned to.
Pros: - The location is good, we walked to Disney every day - It is close to food outside the park (Coffee shop across the street, pizza and Subway across the street, nearby Walgreens, and CPK and Cheesecake Factory are a block away) Cons: - We were convinced by the Getaway today agent to book this hotel for a little less than one of the near by Marriott Suites hotel for the "Kids Suite". It was so small and we had no room to put our suitcases down. - Hotel 'free' breakfast was terrible. Even my 8 YO hated it. - Hotel restaurant was OK - Our room was very dated / In need of a refresh You pay for what you get!
nice lobby
The only thing nice was the lobby! The hotel stunk breakfast gave us all food poisoning which trashed our whole Disneyland vacation! Will not book again getaway today amazing love their service just not this hotel!
Cheap, clean motel close to Disneyland
The best thing about this motel is that it's so close to Disneyland that you can walk. Our room was comfortable, but the walls were thin and our room was loud. The pool was also really small. The room was clean and we liked the free breakfast. We ate outside on the deck and could see California Adventure. The hotel had activities for kids, and my boys liked looking for the hidden Mickey.
