Happily Ever After first debuted May 12, 2017 when it replaced the popular Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams fireworks show. It’s been the main staple of a night at Magic Kingdom except for a brief time during the 50th anniversary celebration.

Needless to say guests and Get Away Today staff are beyond thrilled to have this iconic fireworks spectacular showing nightly over Cinderella Castle.

This astounding fireworks extravaganza uses lights, lasers and special effects, plus a soaring score featuring contemporary versions of beloved Disney songs.

We love catching nightly fireworks at Magic Kingdom and while lots of people enjoy this show as well, there are plenty of places to view with your family.

Here are five of our top spots to view Happily Ever After in no particular order:

1. The hub in front of Cinderella Castle at the end of Main Street. This location provides the best view of the projections on the castle and Tinker Bell flying over the crowd. Arrive early!
2. Main Street U.S.A. This location gives an excellent view of the fireworks, and the Main Street projections. It can be crowded, but you won’t need to arrive as early as spot one above.
3. Behind the castle which offers a unique vantage point most people don’t realize is available.
4. Main Street, U.S.A Train Station. Great elevated views and sometimes you can even sit down.
5. Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. This attraction, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are such fun attractions to experience while the show is going!

There are so many amazing ways to make your Walt Disney World vacation even more magical.

First is the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party complete with tantalizing treats and fantastic fireworks.

First, you’’ stop in at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, where you can delight in:

This specialty viewing experience ranges from $99 to $109, tax included but prices will vary by date. Children (ages 3 to 9) are $59, tax included.

There is also a dessert party option, Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats and Sweets, which is popular because it offers seating during the show from the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. Prices start at $119 per person plus tax.

Another incredible option is a Fireworks Specialty Cruise. These nighttime cruises offer the chance to see Symphony of Us or Happily Ever After right from the water. These brilliant fireworks spectaculars add an amazing "wow" factor to your cruise!

From the comfort of a chartered boat, your party can set sail for International Gateway near World Showcase Lagoon to watch the skies light up over EPCOT.
