In today’s blog you will learn all you need to know about Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge reservations and some of our tried and true travel tips and trips. 

Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Reservations

Here are the details we went over in our Facebook Live this morning with Jen. If you’re hoping to head to Galaxy’s Edge, this is what you need to know!

Who Needs to Make a Reservation?

• Only guests who are traveling from May 31 – June 23, 2019 are required to have a reservation to visit this brand-new land. Guests traveling after June 23, 2019 will not need a reservation to enter Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
• Guests who are staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels during this timeframe will automatically receive one reservation, per registered guest.
• For those not staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you will need to make a reservation at Disneyland.com directly on May 2nd.

How Can I Make a Reservation? UPDATE: As of June 24, 2019 reservations are NO LONGER required to access Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

• You will need to visit the Disneyland reservations page and log in to their Disney account. 
• You MUST have a valid Disney account in order to make a reservation. If the guest has not done so, please do so before 10 a.m. PT.
• You can only make one (1) Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge reservation per email address.
• You can add up to five (5) additional guests to their reservation to enter the land (6 total). Please let guests know to be prepared with the full names of everyone in their party.
• Because everyone wants to experience this brand-new land, we expect Disney’s website and reservation system to be slower than usual.
• Guests who do receive a reservation will have a 4-hour time period to visit the land. Once your time slot is up, you will be required to leave.

If I Don’t Get A Reservation, What Happens Next?

• The only way to guarantee a reservation to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. If visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge from May 31 – June 23, 2019 is a priority for you, we’d recommend booking a stay at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels.
• If you booked with Get Away Today during this timeframe and couldn’t get a reservation for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, no worries! We want you to have the best vacation possible, which is why we’ll waive any reschedule fees if you need to change your vacation. (Please note that hotel rates may increase depending on dates of travel)
